  1. If you are going to play your best baseball all season in September and October, well, that's the time to do it. Ngl I am still cautiously optimistic, based on this team's track record. But they have to keep winning games. Win 3, lose 1, win 4, lose 1, win 3, lose 2, win 3. Has to be something like that if they aren't going to go on like a 8-0 or 10-0 hot streak.
  2. I mean, I know he's no spring chicken anymore, but what other decent options are there? I would rather they spend more money on the outfield and depth.
  3. After a few days away from life and the Sox, and seeing the first two games of that MN series were quite entertaining, and with the Sox still very much in this race, I'm ready to sit back relax and strap this s%*# down! Can we PLEASE get into first place!?!
  4. I was mia all weekend, no service cell service. I come back and they are two games out again. Wtf lol.
  5. Eloy has to be done, right? How can they rely on him for next season?
  6. I cannot freaking believe the Sox are still in it.
  7. Another oppo bomb for Pollock. How had this team found it's power stroke all of a sudden?
  8. Hey Melky wasn't all that bad. And he was very entertaining.
  9. I finally figured out why the Sox haven't been hitting homeruns. Everytime they hit one, Jerry has to spend money on fireworks. Less fireworks, less money spent. Duh. Can't believe it took me this long.
  10. Did you just ask yourself if you were being sarcastic? EDIT: I just realized you were talking to flavum...yall's names look alike
  11. While I agree, with Vaughn's age and development he is likely to surpass Abreu next year. And Vaughn isn't injury prone. They need to accept the fact that they cannot play a first baseman in the outfield if they want to be competent. As much as I LOVE Abreu and what he brings to the team, I think they need to let him walk. Put Vaughn at first, DH Sheets, go out and find an actual competent outfielder, and I'd even go as far to say try to trade Jimenez. I just don't think the team can trust him to be productive based on his health history. Actually I think it's foolish to. They got Cease out of the Quintana trade. That's a win. So, go and find 2 competent outfielders.
  12. The only ones that don't see the real reasons behind the issues are the front office personnel.
  13. I like Yaz, but it's definitely him. Team would have been better off keeping Narvaez or McCann (yes I was one of those not thrilled about the Grandal signing).
  14. Same concept with Grandal and Kuechel. And Moncada is about to start getting expensive as well.
