Yes, the hitting is frustrating, as well as the Sox seemingly not yet "in league" with the likes of the Yankees, Dodgers, etc. But, it's a loong season. Let's see how the rest of this plays out. I for one would love them to have a much better 2nd half than 1st half...the opposite of last year.
Hopefully when we are at full strength when Lynn and Eloy return (until the next injury...) that will give us the boost we need.
In the next 13 games, we have 5 in a row against KC, 3 against Boston in Chicago who we just swept, and 2 against the Cubs at home who we also just swept. Anything can happen in this game, and yes there is another 3 against the Yankees in New York during that stretch, but we might be looking at a much better record at the end of May than what they have right now.
