The Yankees lineup is in fact much scarier than ours right now. DJ is even playing just as well as Tim at the top. The Yankees would headline the top two with Cole and Tanaka, both of whom can be hit by our guys. Even still, that is a nice top two.

I don't think the Tribe needs to pitch out of their minds to win 3 of 4. They can pitch well and do so in theory. The Reds did not pitch out of their minds and took two out of three. Our sleeping bats need to wake up a bit.

Well I disagree. Them being mad at signing Bauer would be selfish. Not being mad at losing starts because he wants to pitch more. Especially since Bauer hasn't done anything for this organization yet.

I'm not saying you are wrong but here are two points for us to consider. 1. Do you think Gio and DK would be okay with a FA pitcher coming in calling these types of shots when they helped us get to the post season? 2. Do you think other pitchers aren't going to be upset at losing opportunities, even if minimal, to play? Games played and stats are important and directly impact your salary.

All you can ask for is having a chance to win a game late. If DK keeps us in the game down 2 to 1 against an ace, we have a shot. If in game 2 Gio gives up 3 or 4 runs early, our offense will have a shot against a number 2 to get back in that game and win it. Also,if DK can get you 7 in game 1, if Gio plays poorly in game 2, our bullpen will be fresh to pitch a long game 2. If Gio wets the bed in game 1 and we lose to an ace, that changes the series big time. The guys will be playing with a world of pressure on them.

I said this last week. I worry about Game 1 or Game 7 Gio meltdowns until he gets a few playoff games under his belt.

I think Sox fans are gonna be shocked at how much they spend this offseason to get better. Really shocked. They will get a pitcher and a RF.

I want to see someone take complete control of that number 3 spot in the rotation. I want to see Madrigal batting second for the remainder of the season. I want to see Moncada revert back to a quality player.

We need to finish this season strong. No bad play heading into the playoffs.

Today's game is just as important as against Cleveland tomorrow. Winning today and Minny losing to Darvish, almost certainly wraps this division up. I see a lot of fans caring about the pitching matchuos but playing well heading into the playoffs is critical.
