Grandal seems to lose focus and go through the motions sometimes. Sadly, its happened a few times with the game on the line. Madrigal has been terrible running the bases all year, even knocked himself out of game action doing it. He is Eloy running bases. It's almost as if he never got on base his entire life. There is a big difference between being aggressive on the paths and being crazy.
I think any playoff matchup would be tough. This is why I always say the playoffs appear random because all of the teams are good. The number 1 and 2 seeds aren't much better than the 3 and 4 in most seasons.
It's a reward for division winners. The later rounds is to keep players from getting Covid and throwing the post season out of whack. And if things need to get extended, they'd probably prefer to be in warm weather.
Expectations started this year for most fans. 2020 was always the year I expected the team to compete for the division. I didn't give a damn about Minny winning 104 and us 77 or whatever. Roster turnover could take care of that.
We need dumming to be solid. Because we could really use Rodon in the bullpen. This being said, we do not have a playoff rotation at this point. Our bullpen isn't playoff caliber either.
I think you want to win the division if you're the Sox. This season may not be 100 percent legit, but the way things are going it is about 85 percent legit.
I wanted and we mostly wanted 25 and 16 at the end of the KC series a few weeks ago. Well done fellas. And good job Parrot and Nomar picking the team up! Get hot fellas. Hopefully our pitching can get healthy and sorted out.
This is where lineup construction hurts you. Robert coming up with a new pitcher who just walked someone is more likely to do damage than struggling EE and Eloy. If Robert gets a hit and Eloy was batting behind him, he has a better chance.
