  1. Mike Clevinger has done little for them this year anyway. They are still loaded at SP without him, Bauer, and Kluber.
  2. We have to remember one thing. We acquired all of this major league young controllable talent to win a few titles. Once your major league squad does this, prospects will need to be traded to help the team win it all and free agents will need to be signed to help out as well. Our everyday roster is loaded with Vaughn ready to contribute and our staff has 2 dependable pitchers for the next 3 years after now. We can trade Kopech or Dunning if we get a controllable arm. However, we better sign another good pitcher this offseason if we do so to ensure we have a competitive rotation. Gio, trade, FA, DK, would need to be here through 2023. We will also need to draft BPA to acquire more pitching as needed if it comes to it. This is the life of being a non free spending contensing team. Enjoy these 7 years of great baseball because it is once in a lifetime for us. We don't know if it will happen again in our lifetime.
  3. Let the Padres cawk sucking begin, i mean continue.
  4. The trades aren't only for this season. They are to try and steal a world series this year and have a great shot moving forward. I'm not sure we would be willing to give up a lot for Lynn for this reason.
  5. The way this season has played out, there should be no asterisk. The expected good teams will make the playoffs. The expected division winners will win the divisions.
  6. You are a very important poster on this forum and help to keep it fun. But for fucks sakes let people dream a little ?
  7. That's my point. When something goes on with Kopech they may instantly worry about his mental. I question if they no longer want to be concerned with that or think he may eventually call it quits.
  8. And coop is his pitching coach, so he has intel on him. It could be possible they'd rather trade Kopech if they believe his heart or mind isn't completely with baseball.
  9. Does anyone think ojr front office may have soured on Kopech and his sitting out is a big deal? Not saying this is a certainty but Cooper's comments were telling.
  10. I'm sure the Brewers would know his peripherals have been terrible and not simply look at ERA.
  11. We shouldn't care if he stays in the AL. We should care about Cleveland getting the worst package possible.
  12. My guess Mazara for Steele Walker Walker, Stiever, Collins for Lynn and Gallo
  13. I'm sorry but you cannot trade Kopech or Vaughn to the Indians. You cannot do that.
  14. Cleveland has to get rid of him at this point. No Kopech.
  15. How often does that happen? And didn't they have Cole, Verlander, and Grienke?
  16. True. I don't consider us a contender just yet because we only have two pitchers id feel comfortable with in a post season game. And even Gio scares me a little in a game 7.
