  1. If Tim doesn't keep that .335 up he won't be better than Polanco. Robert is not better than Buxton, yet. And Abreu is not equal to Sano.
  2. The Twins are going to win our division by 8 to 10 games this year. I doubt our roster will be better prior to 2021.
  3. Pitchers didn't want to go there. So they added to the offense to make it unstoppable. They will probably still trade for a good pitcher sometime this season.
  4. I would have liked to keep him for a bullpen role. But good shit getting that spot.
  5. Top 10 Teams according to ESPN 1. Yankees 2. Dodgers 3. Rays 4. Astros 5. Nationals 6. A'S 7. Braves 8. Cardinals 9. Twins 10. Mets 12. Indians 14. Cubs 16. White Sox: They are better, unquestionably, after adding Yasmani Grandal, Dallas Keuchel and Edwin Encarnacion, and re-signing Jose Abreu. But remember, they finished 28½ games behind Minnesota last year, and will need another big year from Lucas Giolito and a smooth re-entry for Michael Kopech as he returns from Tommy John surgery.
  6. AKA, the game was banned lol. Just like NFL 2K was superior to Madden. NFL 2K5 is still better than the later Madden games from a fun perspective. The graphics were much smoother too.
  7. Yeah, the fielding was much better than the Show 19.
  8. MVP 05 set the standard and was banned a year later because of it. The franchise mode and practice are still better than the Show. As is playing defense and baserunning. Bases loaded deserved to be in the top ten over several of those games. NCAA baseball 05 should have been in there too.
  9. Stay out of White Sox Nation business, Jon.
  10. Reylo was spared last year because of Covey, Banhim, Fulmer, Edwin, Des Plaines, etc.
  11. You need to do a tutorial for mlb site videos. It told me the files were too big. Thank you though, great videos. I also encourage you all to listen to the chuck garfein podcast with david Kaplan.
  12. I don't know the metrics, but EE looks more fluid than Jose at first. He is also gonna hit some BOMBS at Sox Park. Very nice swing and swag.
  13. Sadly, Engel didn't make the top 10 center fielders list at ESPN. Also sadly, Schwarber and Ozuna beat out Eloy for top 10 on the LFs list. Although Eloy was essentially 11th and they mentioned he would probably be near the top of the list next season.
  14. MLB.com polled front office exec's to see which rookie prospect will have the biggest impact in 2020. The results were: 1) Gavin Lux, SS/2B, LAD, (35% of votes) 2) Jesus Luzardo, LHP, OAK, (19%) 3) Brendan McKay, LHP/DH, TB (15%) 4) Jo Adell, OF, LAA (8%) 5) Sean Murphy, C, OAK (8%) 6) Luis Robert, OF, CWS (8%) 7) Bobby Dalbec, 3B/1B, BOS (4%) 8. MacKenzie Gore, LHP, SD (4%)
  15. FanDuel has the Indians as the 12th best odds to win it all. The Twinkies are 14th and we are 16th. I think if we can stay around the 16th best team to start the year, we will be in great shape. We have room for a lot of growth with our young guys.
  16. I think Giolito will be up there this year. I also think Cease will lower his ERA to about 4 by year's end.
  17. The videos would not load because of file size. Links should be sufficient once available. The spread.com has the Sox at 35/1 to win the series. The Twins are also 35/1 and the Tribe 40/1. The Cubs are also 35/1.
  18. DaughterofaRoache got into some trouble today at work, so I'll try to post vids tomorrow.
  19. Maybe someone posted the video on youtube. I'll look around for it.
  20. This is true, but you never know in the MLB. If the Twins and Tribe stay at the 9-14 range, we can definitely catch them if things go right.
  21. Jeff Passan's unofficial January power rankings have the Twins at 10, and the Sox/Indians somewhere between 11-20. Oddsshark has the Sox at 14, Twins at 11, and the Indians at 13. The Cubs are 12th.
  22. Moncada did not make the top 10 3B list at ESPN but was first on the best of the rest list. Per ESPN, "Yoan Moncada, Chicago White Sox: He was the toughest to leave out of the top 10, but he'll climb into that group next season. Moncada collected 34 doubles, five triples and 25 homers last season. You would assume he'll improve on his 4-to-1 strikeout-to-walk ratio (154 strikeouts, 40 walks) as he gathers experience."
