This team doesn't need to rebuild. They need to fire the leadership that can't identify or groom talent. The young guys we bring in and draft typically suck too. So I'm not sure a rebuild will work. And we have enough talent where we can plug some holes and see where it takes us.

This team just doesn't have enough talent or the manager to be good. It's that simple. This team has made the playoffs 5 times in 40 plus years including numerous choke jobs. Even the 2005 team let a 15 game lead drop to 1.5 in 6 weeks. That is the historical perspective that scares me.

We made the playoffs something like 4 times in 34 years. I'm sure that plays a part in our crappy attendance and ratings. The 2007 team as bad as they were drew 30+ a night because the team was coming off a good run. They need to start having playoff seasons and the fans will come.

Fun fact for today. We'd be on a 10 game losing streak if not for Sale. And we are 1-10 in our last 11 non Sale or Twins games. 1 and effing 10.

Well we had fun for about a month. The reality is this team sucks but got off to a hot start because of Sale and our pitching being unhittable. We will slowly but surely get back to .500 and below where we belong.

If the Sox want fans in the seats at a high rate they need a lot of we brought W's to the park night.
