  1. Most of the teams in baseball have injuries. The Cubs are hurt and guys have stepped up. Guys won't be great all year but these guys have OPS' under 800 for a reason. Anderson, Moncada, Grandal, Abreu, Vaughn, and Leury have enough talent in their bats to keep this offense moving. We've gotten solid production from Lamb and Hamilton. This offense should not look this bad for multiple weeks.
  2. It may not be happening if Tim, Yoan, Abreu, and Vaughn were hitting like they are capable of and Bummer/Marshall/Crochet were pitching like they are capable of.
  3. This team is getting closer to the danger zone of being boring and unwatchable.
  4. It is getting to the point where something must be done. We can not hit the iceberg before making moves. Contrary to popular belief, Cleveland isn't just going to go away. Our offenses are about even right now. At least until Tim, Jose, and Yoan start smashing again.
  5. Luis had 1 home run and wasn't anywhere near MVP during season. Yermin gave us about a month and a half of Eloy production and Lamb has hit a little. Not to mention a lot of good players have been hurt around the league. Couple this with playing in a weak division we are actually fortunate. If we played in the AL East or West we would be in third place most likely.
  6. He is the position player version of Lopez.
  7. We have a few guys with serious talent on the way but yeah we need to find a way to get some decent prospects. It doesn't help that guys like Collins, Rutherford, and Adolfo have not made the impact we needed. Hopefully Burger and/or Sheets can give us some pop.
  8. I won't be watching today's game but I hope to get a real nice birthday present this afternoon. Let's win this one fellas! Stop the Streak!
  9. The Indians greatest strength is pitching. They are really hurting there now. I agree that both offenses are comparable at the moment.
  10. Bullshit. I seriously doubt anything is changing there, but good job defending him. If it is not getting his velocity to 100 then it's not worth talking about, as that is the main issue.
  11. That's not Tony's fault. Abreu won MVP last year and knows what he needs to do from a fundamental stand point. He just isn't doing it.
  12. Just a pathetic week heading into reopening day. If they lose tomorrow they may hear some boo birds Friday.
  13. The numbers don't lie. Our power numbers are atrocious. Can't keep winning like this at a high rate.
  14. We will be able to hold afloat. But we aren't nearly as good as we looked before. Regression is hitting hard.
  15. Wander is catching up to Yoan and Tim in homers. Wait it is his first game?
  16. This team is about to be in for a long month. I don't see them doing well against Minnesota or Seattle if they keep playing like this They got to comfortable because they were winning the division convincingly and are ignoring the flaws.
  17. That he should start and bat second today? Seems like the right call to me.
