The problem is to do better means to give up much better players. Who better can we bring in without dipping into our roster guys? Everyone knows we are desperate and will charge us accordingly.

Because our poor drafting previously has led to no power in the lineup. Collins was supposed to be a power bat for instance. Yoan isn't hitting homers and neither is Vaughn and Abreu right now. We have no power.

We don't have prospect capital. All we can do is plug holes until we are healthy.

He has 15 home runs. Even if his average and OPS are low, he is capable of running into one, which we desperately need.

I agree with this. That is my concern more than losing to them now. Especially trying to get Eloy and Robert back in the swing of things. Injuries suck.

I mean in general if the teams are healthy. Houston and TB have a ton of talent and playoff experience and victories.

I don't think we match up well with them or TB. If the Yankees get healthy that won't be a fun matchup either.

I think Yermin put a target on his back with that 3-0 bomb. Pitchers are really gonna come after him to expose him. I have no problem with him chasing bad pitches, but he is late on meatballs and just missing mistakes.
