I'm not sold looking at our lineup. Hopefully we get some more unsung heroes today.

Eloy, Madrigal, Robert, and Moncada scare me. I'm always concerned they will get some crazy injury.

Baltimore gave them fits last time. I'm not completely sold that Cleveland will roll through them and Pitt.

Cleveland doesn't need to be good to hang around with the injuries we have. They have elite pitching and a pretty easy schedule.

It's frustrating that this Cleveland team should just mail it in, but they are only 7 games over. Might get to 11 over by the end of the week, but I'd take them being in 2nd over a real 2nd place cali er team.

Yep. Everyone can't step up everyday if if one or two randoms can give us a few good at bats here and there it helps a lot.

I would love Cease coming in and throwing gas in the postseason from the bullpen. At this point I can't trust that he won't melt down in a starter role. DK scares me too after last year. But if he gets ground balls successfully the rest of the way it would be a good fit for Yankee Stadium and Fenway park.

Means nothing to me. I'm talking about post season. I'm not starting DK or Cease against the Rays, Bo Sox, or Astros. Maybe DK can start against the Yankees.

Of course this happens after we strand those runners. Cease and DK will luckily be in the bullpen for the playoffs.

I appreciate any and all Sox fans willing to spend this much time on a message board to discuss our team. And as was stated, nothing wrong with Cubs banter because they are a local rival. This is false. Rooting against the Cubs is stupid and proves one isn't a real fan. There is no logic to wanting to successfully beat out a local competitor for advertisers, tv coverage, fan support, city support, and customers. Also no logic in wanting to walk around the city or burbs with pride knowing you have the better team for the longhaul after having to hear their shit talking.
