  1. Clevinger is the second best starter on the team. He’s excellent.
  2. Its getting easier and easier to just laugh it off. I mean, its been pretty much 15 straight years of bumbling minus 2021 (2020 was still disgraceful the way they choked away the division). We have to embrace it.
  3. I said they should hire Ron Washington, but nobody listened. Nobody knows fundamentals better than Ron Washington.
  4. These things are cyclical. Anybody hyperventilating about the pitching needs to just wait a week or two. They will settle down and get in a groove, just in time for the offense to go completely cold. I've watched a Hahn team before.
  5. The whole point of Hahn is to take the blame, JR doesn't care. The team is profitable.. all is well.
  6. Worst you've seen so far. Jerry will probably get one more crack at it.
  7. Why not leave Lambert in? Can't be any worse. He only gave up 1 run, thats pretty good for a Sox reliever.
  8. That won't count against us as a home run. Look for the silver linings.
  9. They outplayed their run differential all year. It was a miracle.
  10. Giolito didn't even deserve a spot in the rotation after last year. A front office that was truly interested in contending would have done something about that in the offseason, but alas.
  11. True. Better not forget them because who knows when the next will be.
  12. People act like the frustrations with the Sox are coming just from a 3-4 start, but its a lot more than that. Its a decade+ of failure bubbling over. We were promised a world series contender by Hahn and instead we got bubkis. ONE postseason win. And lets be honest, even if the Sox somehow made the postseason, this isn't a world series contender. They're not even in the same universe as the contenders. This is the same bad team that we watched last year and the front office made no real effort to improve. Can't blame anyone for feeling negative out of the gate this year. Its a lot more than a 3-4 start.
  13. Seen way too many Sox teams over the years that were right around .500 at the ASB only to utterly dissolve in the second half. Actually, I don't think I've ever once in my life see a happy ending from that. They should be 8 over at least, I don't think thats asking for much. If they're not in contention though, whats the point in even bothering to blow it up? Hahn is still GM and Jerry will still be the owner, so its moot.
  14. The team is sinking into the earth. Us fans can only watch.
  15. Its probably that 70 degree weather. Fans are waiting for it to warm up!
  16. 2023 is picking up right where 2022 left off in every single way. The situational hitting, the bullpen, the injuries. They should’ve given up on Eloy a while ago but now we’ll have to deal with him on and off the IL every other week for the next 6 months.
