The talent isn't what we thought it was. Eloy is a bust, Moncada is looking that way too, Abreu's age has caught up with him quickly. Who else is left? Is TA, Robert, and Grandal supposed to carry the entire team? There are 6 other lineup spots to fill and they all suck. You have Vaughn who has looked shaky lately but overall been a bright spot.

He manages the bullpen excellently. He keeps the attention off the players so they can just focus on the game at hand, unlike Ozzie who was all drama all the time. Now, with injuries ravaging the team again, he has prevented a collapse and kept them hovering around .500 until the players, who have sucked, can turn it around. plus I cant even get into the fact that most of what a manager does in unseen to fans. We have no clue what goes on in the clubhouse, we only know the results speak for themselves.

If someone else buys the team they'll probably relocate it out of Chicago. JR's loyalty to this city will be hard to replicate.
