Dallas always has a tough 1st. At least it was just 1 run. Sox will score many more -

I think a fan threw the ball back on the field. Fuck that! -
And? Worry about yourself.
-
Certainly, there was never a doubt in my mind about that.
-
LoungeGate is only a “Gate” at all because it involves LaRussa. Might as well have a dedicated LaRussa Scandal thread so that we’re not inundated by threads about Tony not tipping his waiter, his dog biting somebody in the neighborhood, etc.
-
Do you accept that TLR gave a sign and Yermin missed it? You’re both living in conspiracy world.
-
He’s respond to a guy saying that Tony never gave a sign and this whole thing is based off a lie - so no, not nice try. Tony gave a sign, Yermin missed it. Accept that and we can go from there.
-
Tony gave the sign, Yermin missed the sign. Tray is responding to the weird conspiracy theory being postulated here that Tony is lying about giving the take sign and actually never gave any sign all. LaRuAnon. I don’t know why that part is so controversial. No reason to think he’s lying about the sign.

This is a great lineup, love Grandal in the 2 spot. Only issue is how slow he can be, but thats a problem anywhere -
Maybe - seems like a convoluted theory though when the obvious chain of events was that Yermin was given a sign and missed it - which is the official story that nobody has disputed. Sometimes people miss signs. I don't even think it was malicious, but I see no reason to think that TLR is lying about that specific part of it. Yermin glancing over quickly isn't evidence of anything except that he didn't have time to see it even if it was given.
-
These are a cool gimmick and will be nice to see on the field but I don't want to see them more often than that. The shininess is too much and would get old fast.
-
I mean, TLR says that Yermin missed the sign. I haven't seen anyone from the Sox org come out and say that its not true. I'll take him at his word. The fact that Yermin didn't look over long enough to see it is not proof that it wasn't given.
-
They're decent, better than Boston's.
-
It was given - he missed it.
-
Put Crochet in please. He needs to get more consistent work
-
Grandal shoulda had that. Collins is a better defender
-
The bullpen is spent. Nobody effective left to bring in.
-
Time for a bunt!
-
Jees sometimes I wish there was a "dislike" button - you can't expect every statement to be consistent when the circumstances surrounding them are totally different. I can only refer to my previous testimony, your honor.

You are batting .500

The owner of the White Sox is not getting memos on the various updates to the names of the concession stands. I can't even believe that you'd think otherwise, its mind boggling to me. If you think that every business owner of companies with thousands of employees is getting memos sent to his desk about details that small, I have a bridge to sell you in Alaska. By the way, I'd say Director of Analytics is just a bittttt higher up on the priority list of issues that he would be expected to meddle in compared to renaming a sign in the ballpark.

See, here is the hyperbole that makes it very hard to have this discussion. Never said this whatsoever. Also, I just read your signature for the first time. That's some delicious irony right there. Now if you don't mind, I'm going to strap it down and was Sox vs Baltimore.
-
I don't agree, but think whatever you want and wallow in your hatred for me and Tony, lol. Rick Renteria was a terrible manager and deserved the criticism that I gave him based on years of watching him manage the White Sox. Tony has not done anything in my book to earn nearly that level of criticism based on his first two months at the helm. I stand by that.
-
I was really excited when they hired Tony, but I don't disagree with what you say about his in-game decisions, they've been below my expectations. That said I'm still hopeful that his managerial experience and steady hand will pay off in the end and produce a long playoff run. I don't think that was ever a realistic possibility with Rick Renteria.
