  1. This is kinda like a reverse 2008. I remember how annoyed I was when the Twins swept us in the metrodome and the fans celebrated like the just won the world series. They were so cocky, and then we made them regret it a week later... Now we're the ones who are going to get our punishment at the hands of the Twinkies for celebrating too soon!
  2. This is the Chicago White Sox. Collapsing down the stretch is what they do!
  3. We're somehow playing in a postseason game on Tuesday for the first time in 12 years, and yet I have zero desire to watch. (I will watch tho)
  4. I can think of one move that will inspire the fans, but he's not a player....
  5. Can we fire Ricky BEFORE Tuesday? That might be the only thing that will give a spark to this lifeless team.
  6. Only if they get swept? Ricky should be gone unless they win the WS.
  7. With the expanded playoffs, yeah most people did. It would have been an epic failure to not make it this year.
  8. No doubt there. Gio craps the bed against anyone not named Royals/Pirates/Tigers.
  9. We can still WIN we just need SCORE about 20 runs!
  10. Why has Ricky decided to concede the most important game of the season in the second inning?
  11. Did he make any cooking references? Anything about a tasty pie?
  12. Why were they talking to TA in the middle of the bottom of the 6th? Save it for mid-inning at least. He was clearly distracted. Thats a recipe for disaster.
  13. Hard pass. He has no loyalty. We need loyalty, Jerry demands it.
  14. Oh, I know. I haven't personally attacked anyone. Im having fun, ya'll just seem pissed off. ?
  15. Ya'll are on a discussion board, but at the end of the day it seems you just want to hear your opinion come out of someone elses' mouth. ?
  16. Outside the south side, there arent any specific sox bars. Even in Lakeview and Lincoln Park though, you'll find the Sox on at any sports bar and there are still plenty of sox fans around there. I was in Wrigleyville for the Sox-Cubs series and the bar we were at was nearly 50-50.
  17. Nah, he definitely shouldn't have sat out.
  18. Fact check: Yup, he did quit on the team. Regular people don't get to take a year off of work because they're getting divorced.
  19. I don't even care anymore. He quit on the team.
