  1. QUOTE (Chicago White Sox @ Jul 23, 2016 -> 11:44 PM) Yeah, I don't blame Sale for being a bit high strung if trade rumor speculation was involved. Chris is a loyal guy and it's got to be tough dealing with this s***. He's a loyal guy? Is that was he was being during Spring Training when he publicly threw his boss under the bus and embaressed the organization? He was loyal to Drake, I suppose.
  2. To the guys saying he was justified because "the jerseys were uncomfortable" Give me a freaking break! This dude is getting paid MILLIONS of dollars to pitch every 5 days. I would go out there and pitch in my birthday suit if they were giving me that much money. He is a child who must have never been told no growing up. Absolutely no sympathy.
  3. Remember a couple years ago when we were all laughing at Zambrano and the Cubs debacle? It was right around the time of the cross town series too. I cant believe we've fallen to that level, if not worse.
  4. I doubt we're selling. This organization under Kenny doesn't sell. We've had many more worse teams than this one that they've propped up with a burnt out veteran or two. I guarantee it, no sell! We will continue to tread water for another couple of years until the front office changes.
  5. "That's just baseball" "It's a long season" We'll get e... ZZZ.ZZZ.ZZZ"
  6. We're living on a prayer right now. Have the bullpen ready to go on a moments notice next inning.
  7. This is going to be another short outing. Get someone up in the bullpen!
  8. Damn, foiled again. Just as Robin is hanging by a thread, his team pulls out a "big win". Now we will have to watch them flail around for another month before he's back on the hot seat, all because of one win.
  9. Everything is fine! No need to overreact and hit the panic button, that's just baseball! I'm sure we're gonna turn it around next series.
  10. I saw a LINEBRINK jersey at the game last night, and it just happened to be in the inning that we gave up the lead. I blame Scott Linebrink for our bullpen woes.
  11. Great way to start off June. This team can win the division. It was a horrible, horrible May but we're not out of it yet, despite Robins best efforts otherwise.
  12. Even if Robin was not directly at fault for today, he needs to be fired yesterday. 5 years of complete failure can not be tolerated by the org. When things are going this poorly something has to give, and it needs to be the manager.
  13. All the talk of the "Summer of Baseball" in Chicago has evaporated so quickly, and hey, May isnt even over yet!
  14. My RV postgame prediction: "shrugs shoulders" Thats just baseball! Its a long season! This is a resilient group of guys (They've proven otherwise) Same old, Same old.
  15. I just cant f***ing believe that one effing Rangers game has done this to us. How mentally weak can a team be to let one blown loss destroy an entire season? I laughed at the people who were freaking out after the Texas game and told them to screw off. Looks like they were right!
  16. I feel sick. So disgusted in this organization. And he's still not getting fired guys, no way.
  17. QUOTE (greg775 @ May 25, 2016 -> 04:18 PM) Can't beg to the baseball gods when Chicago has had as much success as it has had. WS title 11 years ago; Bulls dynasty; BlackHawks dynasty. Cleveland is the city to pity; no title since the 60s in anything and hearts to be broken badly vs. OKC again. I don't care about the bulls or the hawks. I'm a sox fan.
  18. Dont even know what to say anymore. I mean COME ON baseball gods, can we White Sox fans have just a bit of happiness? It's been so freaking long since this team was respectable, and right when things finally seem to be looking up they rip our hearts out. Need to take a week off from the Sox and cool off. Hopefully a week from now we're all talking about a 5 game winning streak. Things can change fast in baseball.
  19. If this weekend goes the way I expect it to (not well), Robin has to be fired, right? We will have squandered a 6 1/2 game lead in less than a month and are in complete free fall. Thats hard to do! This team is too talented to be mediocre. We have arguably the best 2 pitchers in the AL right now, and have already wasted years of Chris SAle and Quintana.
  20. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ May 23, 2016 -> 10:42 PM) I'm just curious if there's anyone here who would go to Las Vegas/Macau/Atlantic City with the tonight's current odds for making the playoffs and place a $10,000 bet on the White Sox and Ventura? Considering how Ventura tends to concede 2 run games in the 7th inning, I know he wouldn't place that bet!
  21. Hmm lets see. His first year he managed the sox to an epic collapse in the final week of the season, and then followed that up with 3 consecutive non-competitive losing seasons. His teams have wilted in every pressure moment for his entire managerial career. I know he won't be fired though, absolutely no way. If they didn't fire him going into this year they're not gonna do it while the sox are in the hunt. My biggest fear is that we sneak into the playoffs and that gives managment all the excuse they need to extend him, because Im sure that's what Jerry would love to do.
  22. May has just been so dissapointing. These guys had a real chance to take control of this division and they've pissed it away. Have to lay the blame on the manager.
  23. Robin seems to be obsessed with "saving the bullpen" to the detriment of the rest of the team most games. What is he saving them for exactly?
