Smarter in the sense that each loss is costing less than last year.

White Sox bring Mike Clevinger back, pending physical
Green Line replied to Sleepy Harold's topic in Pale Hose Talk
Who should they have signed instead? Or you're happy with the rotation? -
I've been saying Eloy is a bust since 2020. All this wasted time could have been avoided.

We have our ace going tomorrow.

It was decent in the first series.

Tigers fans will be disgusted by that sloppy eater soon.

New $15 Campfire milkshake leads MLB food debuts
Green Line replied to caulfield12's topic in Pale Hose Talk
I didn't buy one but I saw others holdings them. They are way smaller in person, must've had a really small girl holding it in the picture. I also didn't see any toppings but maybe they were already eaten, was just a chocolate shake in a fancy cup. Also Dippin Dots ARE GONE, replaced by some knock off brand. -

All I know is, no matter what I'm going to enjoy this season more than 2023. Zero expectations, no chance for dissapointment.

Mini melts sounds like some knock-off Dippin Dots. If they got rid of dippin dots there is no reason to go to a game this year.

Sox speaking about bringing back Clevinger
Green Line replied to PolishPrince34's topic in Pale Hose Talk
Good, he is needed. -
A lot of people hate Jerry so much they'd rather see the Sox fail. They are going to complain regardless of what comes out.
-
There's not a single potential owner that will keep the team in Chicago if they have to stay at Guaranteed Rate. Anybody is going to ask for public financing, which has been given to countless teams across the league over the past two decades. Just say you hate the Sox and want them gone.
-
They’re not staying at Guaranteed Rate. Its the worst ballpark in the MLB. The fact that its not literally crumbling is the only argument I hear in its favor. Either this deal happens or he moves - either to somewhere like Naperville or a new metro area. I know as a Chicago-based Sox fan which of those three options I choose. The State of Illinois and Chicago will throw away whatever money is not spent on this project to their crony friends so I am not sure why anybody really cares. The plan as presented will further revitalize the South Loop and a new Red Line station is always welcome.

He’s wont be around long enough to really enjoy any new stadium. The fans will get more out of this deal than him. you can’t take your money with you to the next life
