You remember Eric Lindros in the early 90's? The next Gretzky, he told the Quebec Nordiques he woudnt sign w them under any circumstances as he wanted a better team and market
They drafted him anyway and the Nords couldnt sign him and ended tradiing him to Philly for a boatload of players

No offense but I have a hard time rooting for cubs. I was happy for all my cub loving friends when they won the WS but other than that, its not in my DNA to pull for them
Like my good friend, a cub fan told me earlier given the state of affairs here, we have 2 choices, contract the Sox or move them to another city that might appreciate a MLB team
