  1. QUOTE (ZoomSlowik @ Jun 3, 2012 -> 10:32 PM) Maybe not, Lebron fouls out on a similar play. Garnett's was legit, the LeBron one wasn't. Garnett held LeBron's arm to prevent him from helping out on Rondo's drive.
  2. LOL at that call on LeBron. Horrid officiating in this game. I don't think any of Lebron's last 3 fouls were called correctly and Pierce's 6th was a joke.
  3. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ May 30, 2012 -> 10:40 PM) Wow, Wade hits Rondo in the face - no call. Then he comes down and jump kicks Garnett and somehow it's a foul on KG. Why am I watching this? The missed foul on Rondo was really bad but good luck seeing the kick in real time when there was a lot of contact by Garnett up top. That would have taken an incredible piece of officiating by the refs to catch that one.
  4. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ May 29, 2012 -> 09:12 AM) <!--quoteo(post=2609593:date=May 28, 2012 -> 08:45 PM:name=SleepyWhiteSox)-->QUOTE (SleepyWhiteSox @ May 28, 2012 -> 08:45 PM) <!--quotec-->Rarely do I mention this, but excellent officiating... This is definitely not a travel Everyone is allowed to take 3 steps in the NBA. Not worth complaining about.
  5. Alex Rios so close to having an absolutely epic today.
  6. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ May 25, 2012 -> 08:37 AM) A game? The Pacers took 2 and the Celtics are only going to take 1? Without Bosh, this could easily go 7. The Celtics are simply a more disciplined team than the Pacers. They can get under the Heat's skin too...but they will also run smarter offense and defense. Avery Bradley is out for the playoffs and Ray Allen is clearly not healthy and is playing bad basketball. The Celtics aren't a very strong team right now.
  7. QUOTE (Soxbadger @ May 24, 2012 -> 10:22 PM) When Wade is on there just are to many problems for a defense. Its just so hard to deal with a pick and roll, because a big guy like Hibbert gets stuck to far out, or to deep under the basket on the switch. Im thinking the Heat may sweep the next series. The real test would be a team like OKC, who can play at a similar scoring pace and they have Durant. Depends on if Bosh plays and is healthy. If he isn't the Celtics or Sixers will steal at least a game.
  8. I wonder when Danny Granger will learn to keep his mouth shut. He isn't near good enough to run his mouth the way he always does.
  9. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ May 23, 2012 -> 10:50 PM) I still don't think the sixers are that good. But their defense is stellar. They're undersized and don't have any shot-blockers. But they are extremely quick and athletic. They aren't good. They struggled to beat a Bulls team without Noah and Rose and are now playing an old and beat up Celtics team. Ray Allen clearly isn't healthy and Avery Bradley has missed the last couple of games with an injury.
  10. Strong effort by the refs tonight to make this a series.
  11. Kobe would be having another f***ing terrible game if the refs didn't gift wrap him a bunch of free throws he didn't earn tonight.
  12. The refs doing everything they can do keep the Lakers in the game tonight.
  13. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ May 18, 2012 -> 06:57 AM) With the way the East is shaking out, it's basically gonna be the default NBA final. It is really remarkable how badly injuries have ruined the eastern conference playoffs.
  14. QUOTE (DukeNukeEm @ May 18, 2012 -> 12:04 AM) Battleship is the most disappointing movie I've ever seen. Why would you actually expect that movie to be good? I'm not sure how a movie that was always going to be bad can be disappointing.
  15. Terrible luck for the Nuggets so far. Any time Blake makes shots it might not be your night. That guy is garbage.
  16. QUOTE (RockRaines @ May 10, 2012 -> 09:12 PM) Dude you admitted that you dont watch the NBA till college is over so how do you know that? Second, if you take out Asik you put in a black hole on defense in Boozer. A black hole on defense who was also an embarrassment on offense tonight.
  17. Watson is a f***ing idiot. I thought they were going to lose as soon as he made that pass. Also, hell of a performance by the Bulls' $85 million man. 1-11 for 3 points.
  18. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ May 8, 2012 -> 12:13 PM) You really think that there is no maturation process that goes on between high school and college? Not a whole lot for guys who are there for only a year and are treated like gods during their time in school.
  19. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ May 6, 2012 -> 03:15 PM) I don't know. I just think he's terrible. I remember last year when O.J. Mayo for Asik came up and I said I'd do that in a second and I got rushed. He is excellent defensively. His offense is as bad as it gets in the NBA and he will never be close to competent on that side of the court.
  20. QUOTE (SoxFan1 @ May 6, 2012 -> 12:25 AM) Saw it today in IMAX 3D. Came in with high expectations and it blew them out of the water. Awesome, awesome movie. And it was actually pretty hilarious. I laughed more during the Avengers than I do during most comedies. Absolutely terrific movie.
  21. QUOTE (Jake @ May 5, 2012 -> 10:09 AM) I thought CJ had to be not healthy. Just doesn't look right. I say start JL3 and give James some minutes as well. JL3 helped us screw the pooch at the end there (who didn't) but he actually stayed quiet much of the time he was in, which is new for him. He's usually either making noise with turnovers/bad shots or by scoring but for quite a while there he actually was letting the offense run. The most irritating thing though is that he won't run the pick and roll -- I think he's afraid he can't make the pass to the screener without turning it over. I also have to wonder if it's a crazy idea to have Rip Hamilton bring the ball up. Boozer definitely needs more touches in the offense. Almost every good possession I can think of started with a slick pass by Boozer. Unfortunately, I doubt we play with Noah for the rest of the postseason. Too bad because he moves the ball almost as well. I'd like to see Booz and Taj starting and getting as many minutes as possible. Looks like we're finally in trouble for not signing a reserve big man. ...and we could still win, lol. Just can't s*** the bed at the end of games. Need to run the offense. When did Lucas let the offense run? I saw a guy who dominated the ball and wasted 15+ seconds dribbling on nearly every possession in the 4th quarter. The guy is an outrageously bad PG. No court vision and no understanding of how to run a team. Not a terrible shooter and scorer but 5'9" shooting guards aren't going to get it done in the playoffs.
  22. QUOTE (buhbuhburrrrlz @ Apr 29, 2012 -> 08:31 PM) what did Rondo do? I just turned on the game. They're saying they might be without him next game. Bumped an official.
  23. QUOTE (2nd_city_saint787 @ Apr 28, 2012 -> 06:38 PM) Did Rip play in that last game against the Celtics that they won without Rose?? I dont think he was was he? With that said I think the Bulls still make it to the ECF and even put up a fight against the Heat. Rips been playing real good lately and if we get a few ballsy performances from CJ and JL3 we might even win a couple in the ECF or f*** it even win....theyve already beat both boston and miami without rose and Rip, with Rip back who knows! Like we saw last year, regular season performance against a certain team is irrelevant in the playoffs. The Bulls aren't beating the Heat without Rose.
  24. QUOTE (Athomeboy_2000 @ Apr 28, 2012 -> 05:34 PM) I am thinking that Jason Goff doesnt have good sources. First Wade was going to sign with the Bulls, now Rose "should be good". It was probably just some random player that doesn't realize that you can walk and put weight on a your leg when you have a torn ACL.
