  1. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ May 6, 2012 -> 03:15 PM) I don't know. I just think he's terrible. I remember last year when O.J. Mayo for Asik came up and I said I'd do that in a second and I got rushed. He is excellent defensively. His offense is as bad as it gets in the NBA and he will never be close to competent on that side of the court.
  2. QUOTE (SoxFan1 @ May 6, 2012 -> 12:25 AM) Saw it today in IMAX 3D. Came in with high expectations and it blew them out of the water. Awesome, awesome movie. And it was actually pretty hilarious. I laughed more during the Avengers than I do during most comedies. Absolutely terrific movie.
  3. QUOTE (Jake @ May 5, 2012 -> 10:09 AM) I thought CJ had to be not healthy. Just doesn't look right. I say start JL3 and give James some minutes as well. JL3 helped us screw the pooch at the end there (who didn't) but he actually stayed quiet much of the time he was in, which is new for him. He's usually either making noise with turnovers/bad shots or by scoring but for quite a while there he actually was letting the offense run. The most irritating thing though is that he won't run the pick and roll -- I think he's afraid he can't make the pass to the screener without turning it over. I also have to wonder if it's a crazy idea to have Rip Hamilton bring the ball up. Boozer definitely needs more touches in the offense. Almost every good possession I can think of started with a slick pass by Boozer. Unfortunately, I doubt we play with Noah for the rest of the postseason. Too bad because he moves the ball almost as well. I'd like to see Booz and Taj starting and getting as many minutes as possible. Looks like we're finally in trouble for not signing a reserve big man. ...and we could still win, lol. Just can't s*** the bed at the end of games. Need to run the offense. When did Lucas let the offense run? I saw a guy who dominated the ball and wasted 15+ seconds dribbling on nearly every possession in the 4th quarter. The guy is an outrageously bad PG. No court vision and no understanding of how to run a team. Not a terrible shooter and scorer but 5'9" shooting guards aren't going to get it done in the playoffs.
  4. QUOTE (buhbuhburrrrlz @ Apr 29, 2012 -> 08:31 PM) what did Rondo do? I just turned on the game. They're saying they might be without him next game. Bumped an official.
  5. QUOTE (2nd_city_saint787 @ Apr 28, 2012 -> 06:38 PM) Did Rip play in that last game against the Celtics that they won without Rose?? I dont think he was was he? With that said I think the Bulls still make it to the ECF and even put up a fight against the Heat. Rips been playing real good lately and if we get a few ballsy performances from CJ and JL3 we might even win a couple in the ECF or f*** it even win....theyve already beat both boston and miami without rose and Rip, with Rip back who knows! Like we saw last year, regular season performance against a certain team is irrelevant in the playoffs. The Bulls aren't beating the Heat without Rose.
  6. QUOTE (Athomeboy_2000 @ Apr 28, 2012 -> 05:34 PM) I am thinking that Jason Goff doesnt have good sources. First Wade was going to sign with the Bulls, now Rose "should be good". It was probably just some random player that doesn't realize that you can walk and put weight on a your leg when you have a torn ACL.
  7. Tavon Wilson in the secon round? Really good player at Illinois and I like him but almost no way he isn't still available tomorrow.
  8. QUOTE (lostfan @ Apr 26, 2012 -> 10:24 PM) Tell the truth... think back to 2000, when we didn't have this advanced internet pouring with information and there was no YouTube, how much did you know about the safety from New Mexico that the Bears drafted to play MLB? Not sure how this is relevant. Urlacher was a freak athlete with really good size for a linebacker. Most people didn't know anything about him but if he was around now he would be incredibly hyped with his measurables.
  9. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Apr 26, 2012 -> 09:07 PM) Lost...I apologize, Kendall Wright goes now. I wonder if we will see our pick play LB and DE. In the Cover 2? Don't see how he possibly plays LB.
  10. QUOTE (DrunkBomber @ Apr 26, 2012 -> 09:04 PM) I dont mind the player, just would have preferred to have moved down a few picks to get him. I still scratch my head at people clamoring for DeCastro, that makes no sense. Neither does a guy who almost certainly can't be an every down DE in the Bears scheme.
  11. Ron Artest is such a piece of s***. There is no way he should be allowed to play again this season.
  12. Some reviews for the Avengers are trickling in since it comes out in a lot of territories next week and they are all saying the movie is absolutely fantastic so far. I've only seen five or six but that is a good sign.
  13. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Mar 29, 2012 -> 03:32 PM) I was thinking of Palmer. I know he never signed. He may have committed under Weber anyways though, not sure. Palmer committed to Weber and then stopped working on his game, got hurt (not seriously but it hurt his development), and didn't have great grades (although they were barely good enough to qualify) and Weber basically pulled his scholarship.
  14. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Mar 29, 2012 -> 02:06 PM) Yeah, Weber will be advising Leonard. He's gone. I wonder if Groce will take away Orris' scholi. He hasn't exactly molded into a Big Ten player from what I've read. Weber took a Self recruits scholi, so its not unprecedented. No he didn't. Carter, Randle and McBride were the three signed recruits when Weber took over for Self. All three had scholarships and played for Illinois.
  15. QUOTE (SoxFan1 @ Mar 28, 2012 -> 10:52 PM) So apparently Groce was the lead recruiter on Oden, Buford, Cook, and Conley? Can someone verify this? And obviously he brought DJ Cooper into Ohio. I know he was for Oden and Conley. Not sure on the others. Groce is a known recruiter and while not the home run hire I was hoping for I am on board. He just has to sell Abrams on staying and the rest of the players will fall in line. Very interested to see the staff he puts together as it has to have someone from Chicago.
  16. Absolutely brutal officiating in the OSU v. Syracuse game.
  17. QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Mar 17, 2012 -> 07:27 PM) Sweet non call on the push in the back That was ridiculous. Ezeli definitely would have had that rebound. That absolutely has to be called.
  18. Dixon just fouled the crap out of the Norfolk St. player on that steal.
  19. Missouri should be thanking the refs right now. Every call going against Norfolk St.
  20. QUOTE (flippedoutpunk @ Mar 15, 2012 -> 04:48 PM) are there multiple endings based on how you played the game? and if so are they all bad?
  21. Warning do not watch the below video if you don't want to see major Mass Effect 3 spoilers but this video basically sums up most (but not all) of the reasons that the Mass Effect 3 ending is f***ing garbage and ruins all 3 games.
  22. QUOTE (flippedoutpunk @ Mar 12, 2012 -> 12:20 PM) that doesn't sound very good, I'm hoping bioware didn't rape Shepherd the way that george lucas and steven spielberg raped indiana jones. Much worse IMO. Bad enough that I won't buy another EA or Bioware game unless the endings (if you can call those endings) are fixed. The ending was bad enough that all 3 games are currently ruined for me.
