  1. Is there a dumber chant in all of sports than the overrated chant? Well maybe, every fan of every team chanting MVP for their best player.
  2. I'm enjoying Fallout New Vegas but I don't find the story or characters as engrossing as Fallout 3.
  3. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Oct 25, 2010 -> 11:50 AM) I don't really think many are blaming coaching on yesterday's debacle. Lovie's challenges always have been pretty pathetic. I don't blame him for that because someone needs to be informing him when to challenge, and apparently the Bears either don't have anyone doing that or someone who might not have access to replays. Outside the first quarter, the line wasn't that bad yesterday, certainly good enough to score more points. I also agree, this is all on Angelo. I'm not a Cutler guy, although I admire the talent, but I can't see where he wouldn't be at least slightly shellshocked right now, and it has to be contributing to his struggles. He drops back into the pocket and drops his head like he's going to get hit a lot of times before the rush is really that close. Ron Turner of course, was the Bears' version of Greg Walker, and he finally took the bullet. But if you recall last season, when people were complaining the game plan was too simple,(ironic because now its supposedly too complicated) he basically stated Bears' personnel was unable to grasp anything but the basic stuff. He basically said they weren't intelligent enough to use his entire offense. Now you have Martz, and it appears Turner was correct in his analysis. The amount of hits that Cutler has taken this year is clearly taking a toll. Despite the line playing reasonably well in the 2nd half, they were horrendous in the 1st half yesterday and as you pointed out even when Cutler had time in the 2nd half he looked scared of getting hit. When you also take into account that the Bears WR core is mediocre at best, there is no running game whatsoever, I think there are maybe 3 or 4 QBs that would have the ability to have success with the Bears.
  4. QUOTE (kev211 @ Oct 24, 2010 -> 07:37 PM) Auburn #1 in new BCS, what a joke. Boise still 3... Teams keep losing but they still don't get their chance. What a joke. Auburn has beaten LSU, Arkansas, and South Carolina. They are far more deserving of being #1 than Boise.
  5. QUOTE (GoodAsGould @ Oct 24, 2010 -> 02:37 PM) Cutler has given this game away, I dont care what the announcer says the most Knox coulda done is tackle Hall. Cutler has played awful lately, but that was a piss poor route by Knox.
  6. Cutler playing poorly but also getting zero help from his receivers. You simply can't let the DB get inside of you when you are running a slant.
  7. Galloway touched Manning on the way down, I wonder if Washington challenges that.
  8. Ugh...bad decision by Cutler, but Hester as usual just stands there and lets the ball get picked rather then helping out his QB.
  9. f*** huge momentum killing play. That should have been challenged though, looks like Cutler broke the goalline.
  10. Another great drive by the Bears and for the first time in weeks the oline actually blocked worth a damn. Another bad challenge by Lovie though.
  11. Wow, that was a terrific play by Cutler for the Td.
  12. Great drive by the Bears and Cutler. Cutler getting rid of the ball instantly so the oline hasn't had a chance to f*** up.
  13. QUOTE (lostfan @ Oct 24, 2010 -> 12:57 PM) No point in singling him out really. There is no NFL caliber player on the O-line, sans Kreutz maybe a quarter of the time. Considering he has a false start, and has directly contributed to all 3 sacks, he hasn't shown any ability to run block and he was a former first round pick there absolutely is a reason to single him out. Plus, I've been on the entire oline sucks bandwagon since last year. I saw this coming from a mile away. Jerry Angelo is a f***ing clown who has no business being a GM.
  14. QUOTE (lostfan @ Oct 24, 2010 -> 12:56 PM) I'm done defending Chris Williams, as of right now my position has officially changed from "he's still a question mark" to "he sucks and is a bust" This is approaching "fun bad" territory. He has played like 3 good games his entire career. He is garbage.
  15. Chris Williams is horrendous. He is a f***ing joke of a football player. And lol at the rest of the offensive line. f***ing clownshow
  16. QUOTE (lostfan @ Oct 24, 2010 -> 12:43 PM) Damn Jay you almost beat the sack, just throw the f***ing ball away. Sheesh. Agreed, but it wouldn't have mattered. It isn't like this team would have picked up a 3rd and 10 anyway. Also, Chris Williams is a freaking joke. He is being blown up today.
  17. QUOTE (MurcieOne @ Oct 24, 2010 -> 12:27 PM) Looks like Hot Rod took a play out of Carroll's playbook and called a CB Blitz. BEEEEEEEEAUTIFUL. And ST or defensive TDs is the only way this team can win at this point. Great play by the D there.
  18. Chris Williams sucks at football and the Bears have quite possibly the worst offensive line I have ever seen in the NFL.
  19. I love watching Illinois play defense. The dline has been dominant and they have playmakers at all 3 levels of the defense. If Liuget and Martez Wilson come back next year Illinois will have a chance to have a really special season (in part due to a schedule that sets up perfectly for a great season, weak non-conference schedule plus not playing Iowa, MSU or Nebraska).
  20. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Oct 20, 2010 -> 10:48 PM) Horror comedies are lame. Shaun of the Dead says go f*** yourself.
