QUOTE (lostfan @ Oct 24, 2010 -> 12:43 PM) Damn Jay you almost beat the sack, just throw the f***ing ball away. Sheesh. Agreed, but it wouldn't have mattered. It isn't like this team would have picked up a 3rd and 10 anyway. Also, Chris Williams is a freaking joke. He is being blown up today. -

QUOTE (MurcieOne @ Oct 24, 2010 -> 12:27 PM) Looks like Hot Rod took a play out of Carroll's playbook and called a CB Blitz. BEEEEEEEEAUTIFUL. And ST or defensive TDs is the only way this team can win at this point. Great play by the D there. -

Chris Williams sucks at football and the Bears have quite possibly the worst offensive line I have ever seen in the NFL. -

I love watching Illinois play defense. The dline has been dominant and they have playmakers at all 3 levels of the defense. If Liuget and Martez Wilson come back next year Illinois will have a chance to have a really special season (in part due to a schedule that sets up perfectly for a great season, weak non-conference schedule plus not playing Iowa, MSU or Nebraska). -
QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Oct 20, 2010 -> 10:48 PM) Horror comedies are lame. Shaun of the Dead says go f*** yourself.

Juan Uribe the hero. Phillies are in huge trouble
-
Roy Oswalt in to face the top of the Giants order in the bottom of the 9th game tied 5-5

It is still early, but this series is heading back to Texas.

QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Oct 19, 2010 -> 10:59 PM) The Rangers have turned this series into a joke. So far, and I would be feeling great if I was a Rangers fan right now but with Sabathia, Hughes and Pettitte and an explosive offense you can't count the Yankees out just yet.
-
Lol at the Yankees bullpen. Two nights in a row they have melted down ending any chance of a comeback.
-
And the Rangers get out of it. That should basically do it for tonight's game. Swisher continues his horrid postseason play.
-
Wow Rangers have walked the bases loaded in the 8th. Tying run to the plate in the form of Nick Swisher.

QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Oct 19, 2010 -> 09:34 PM) What did I miss? Bartman type play in the 5th inning, Yanks were calm and still got the batter out.
-
And the Yankees show the Cubs how you handle one of your own fans interfering with a play.

QUOTE (T R U @ Oct 18, 2010 -> 09:43 PM) The same TCU team that couldn't even beat Boise last year? Boise is pretty much the same team, TCU lost some big defensive guys but they returned a lot as well.. I don't see how much is different and would take Boise over TCU again if they played which I hope to GOD we don't have to see again.. its time to put these "BCS Busters" against legit opponents.. I agree with you about OU, and I wouldn't say Va Tech is mediocre.. a lot of people said the same thing about the 07 Michigan team after they started 0-2 and they still ended 9-4 with a win over the Florida Tebows in the Capital One Bowl.. Look at Va Techs remaining schedule.. Duke, Ga Tech, UNC, Miami, Virginia.. I dunno maybe they lose to Miami, but there is a very good chance they are playing for the ACC title and a possible 10+ win season.. The ACC is trash. A record in that conference is meaningless. -
QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Oct 13, 2010 -> 09:30 PM) South Park did it up tonight! Finally a good episode that was great. OT but does anyone know what movie the music was from, the music was very familiar and I know i've seen the movie several times but can't put my finger on it.

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Oct 13, 2010 -> 01:38 PM) Cliff Lee is 31 years old. There's every reason to think he can get 5 years from the Yankees. If Cliff Lee isn't pitching for the Yankees next year I will be shocked.

QUOTE (Brian @ Oct 13, 2010 -> 11:50 AM) Not me, but if it put the nail in CLo's coffin, I wouldn't mind it. Probably Dillard and Booker, I'm guessing? Can't believe how bad CLo has ran the program down. Not sure what business it is of Illinois though. It has nothing to do with Illinois. One of the rivals guys posted that he heard rumblings that the NCAA was looking into Baylor and the other one posted he heard a couple of former players weren't happy with what went down at SIU and might talk to the NCAA. -
QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Oct 12, 2010 -> 10:18 PM) Dengs 3pt shot is good. He will average 20pts a game if he keeps knocking it down. But you know whats awesome? Karma. http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/truehoop/mia...tory?id=5679262 The Heat will become the biggest laughing stock in league history if Wade, Bosh, and LeBron get hurt, and with the minutes they'll need to play, I won't rule it out. They won't have to play any more minutes then they did with their teams last year. If anything they will be able to play less minutes.

QUOTE (DukeNukeEm @ Oct 12, 2010 -> 09:37 PM) I'm trying to think of a game where Tillman has been consistently burned this year. You could say the GB game, but the Bears strategy in the game was to give the Packers underneath routes so we could strip the ball out (it worked out quite well), mainly because we have a guy like Tillman who may be the best in the league at it. Other than that he hasn't been bad at all, and we've gone up against some pretty good throwing teams. There is no way in hell that the Bears strategy was to give underneath routes so they could force a fumble. That is f***ing stupid. They wanted to force the Packers to have long drives feeling that they would make a mistake to screw it up rather than have their corners get beat deepand if it wasn't for a pathetic fumble by Jones, and that wasn't a great play by Urlacher, the Bears lose that game. -

QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Oct 11, 2010 -> 11:35 PM) A $150 million salary cap would accomplish virtually nothing except handicapping two teams that have sustainable competitive advantages over the rest of the league, and that's simply not fair to the Yankees or Red Sox, who are the biggest revenue generators in the majors. There were 6 teams with a payroll over $120 million this season. The White Sox are actually one of the 8 that had their entire roster get paid more than $100 million and I believe they ended up spending about $101 mill with the additions of Jackson and Ramirez. At this point in time, a salary cap really doesn't make sense. Not to mention that if you add a salary cap the Yankees and Red Sox just use their resources to buy all the top international free agents and go well over slot for every single draft choice in order to build ridiculous farm systems. -

Brett Favre sucks. The Vikings would be better with Jackson playing. -
QUOTE (J.Reedfan8 @ Oct 10, 2010 -> 07:01 PM) Braves bullpen blows the game. (and Brooks Conrad) Best part though was seeing the freak jumping up and down goin ''f*** ya!!'' and TBS catching it by accident. Brooks Conrad lost that game for the Braves. He is having one of the worst postseasons by an individual player ever.

Giants bullpen blows another one, huge HR by Hinske in the 8th as Braves take a 2-1 lead.
