  1. QUOTE (Brian @ Apr 17, 2010 -> 09:31 PM) AGreed. I want it to go at least 20. I feel like Kramer test driving the car to see how close it can get to E. Hopefully Pujols hits a solo HR so it goes 20.
  2. Epic fail by the Mets and St. Louis hitters.
  3. That run is entirely on Ozzie. What a f***ing stupid decision.
  4. Would it be asking too much for the Sox to get an insurance run so the bullpen doesn't have to be perfect?
  5. I'm unable to watch the game since my Fox game is the Mets game but Gameday is showing that Peavy is getting squeezed big time this inning.
  6. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Apr 12, 2010 -> 10:59 PM) Well, I guess that point could be moot with McCamey declaring. I still expect him to comeback and this really isn't that unexpected. Basically all JRs who have NBA aspirations should declare. He doesn't have a chance of being a first round pick so unless he wants to be the next Marcus Taylor he should come back.
  7. QUOTE (jphat007 @ Apr 10, 2010 -> 02:15 PM) At least he could hit the ball About once every 3 years he has a good offensive season.
  8. Amazing job by Linebrink. Now hopefully our piece of s*** lineup can get their heads out of their asses.
  9. QUOTE (T R U @ Apr 10, 2010 -> 02:10 PM) lol what did Pierre do, I cant watch the game and no one has explained what happened.. Completely misplaced a pretty routine play so instead of men on 1st and 2nd with one out the bases are loaded.
  10. QUOTE (jphat007 @ Apr 10, 2010 -> 02:07 PM) God I wish Pods was back Yeah he was a terrific defensive LF. Oh wait...
  11. QUOTE (Capn12 @ Apr 10, 2010 -> 01:55 PM) Freddy pitched plenty fine enough for a 5th starter, its the 2nd time in a row he allowed a leadoff walk, it was bound to hurt eventually. Freddy pitched fine enough for any starter. I'll take 7 innings with only 2 runs allowed out of any starter in baseball.
  12. QUOTE (southsideirish71 @ Apr 10, 2010 -> 01:51 PM) Well it looks like Hawk is blaming the pitching. Hawk " In everygame this year we have had the lead" Yes I know how lock solid 1-0 leads are in the American League at the Cell Exactly, blaming this on anything other than the hitting is laughable. The Sox have blown a few one run leads but when you can't score more than 3 runs it is going to be extremely tough to win and you can't count on your pitching staff to win every game 3-2.
  13. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Apr 10, 2010 -> 01:01 PM) Our starting pitching is pretty bad ass. I just hope we don't waste it away this season. And while the bullpen hasn't been great it is solid as well. The pitching staff will be great, if the offense can even become mediocre they will have a chance to make the playoffs.
  14. Good AB by Pierre. About the only thing I like about the guy is that he never strikes out.
  15. Rios is looking good at the plate. Now lets see if the Sox can actually score after a leadoff double for a change.
  16. QUOTE (greg775 @ Apr 9, 2010 -> 09:57 PM) Ozz isn't hitting .150 like the team is. But it was also his idea to go with this ludicrous rotating DH idea when you could have had guys like Thome or Guerrero without breaking the bank.
  17. QUOTE (jphat007 @ Apr 9, 2010 -> 09:24 PM) Glad we don't have Pods anymore. He never knocked in big runs Getting rid of Pods was the right move, replacing him with a terrible baseball player was the problem.
  18. QUOTE (jphat007 @ Apr 9, 2010 -> 09:08 PM) Who the f*** should he pitch? Everybody but Santos has sucked and blown it this year. And all those guys are still dramatically better than Linebrink. There is really no defending using the worst pitcher on the staff in that situation.
  19. Why the f*** would you ever pitch Linebrink in a one run game against the Twins. Unbelievably terrible managing decision.
