  1. Rest his wrist that has been giving him problems this year.
  2. Age should have nothing to do with who is most deserving.
  3. Unfortunately, numbers don't win games players do. If you go by the numbers, the royals should be much farther back than they currently are as they have allowed more runs than they have scored.
  4. Moyer doesn't deserve it at all, the only thing he has is a high win total. Hudson is much more deserving of the Cy Young than Moyer. His ERA is over a run better (as is Loaiza's), he has more quality starts, a better BAA, and he has a higher winning percentage than Moyer does. In my opinion there are only two contenders in the race for the Cy Young, Hudson and Loaiza. This could change greatly in the next month however. My list 1. Loaiza 2. Hudson 3. Mussina 4. Halladay 5. Martinez
  5. The Sox don't show up when they play bad teams. They don't hit and a lot of times they don't pitch or field the ball well either. This can be attributed to overlooking the "bad" teams while focusing on the better teams like the Yankees, Royals, etc. This has never made sense to me because you would think in a professional league there would be no teams that you take lightly but in the Sox case this seems to be the problem.
  6. If its a broken finger he would have a near impossible time playing. Every time he would make contact he would be in a ton of pain and it would also affect his grip on the bat.
  7. 1-1 RBI double by Higginson. Magglio looks a little shaken up.
  8. Thanks. Just got back from the cafeteria. Its my first week of classes at the U of I.
  9. Can someone post the lineup, I missed the opening.
  10. So the ump caused Konerko to go 0-2 with the bases loaded and not get a single run home in those two at bats. And then he caused Alomar to swing at the first pitch in the 8th inning and ground into a DP. The call to Alomar was a bad one but when you give up 10 runs and leave as many runners stranded as the Sox did you don't deserve to win the game.
  11. Yofu does have good numbers but he is a marginal prospect. He is 30 years old so I would expect him to dominate more than he has if he is going to contribute at the big league level. With that said he may get a September call up.
  12. Thanks, in the past I posted a lot at espn but there's to many trolls over there. Which is why I decided to register and start posting here.
  13. Your lists aren't bad except that Ross Gload is really a non prospect. He has good numbers in AAA but I believe he is 29 years old. Hitting: 1) Jeremy Reed 2) Joe Borchard 3) Ricardo Nanita 4) Brian Anderson 5) Tim Hummel Pitching: 1) Kris Honel 2) Neal Cotts 3) Ryan Wing 4) Jon Rauch 5) Enemencio Pacheco Our hitting at almost all levels of the minors is pretty weak. I put both Nanita and Anderson on my list based on their numbers and potential even though they are probably years away from being major leaguers if they ever do reach that level.
