So dumb. You have to spike the ball there. NFL teams are ridiculously stupid. -

Obvious pass interference again. Packers getting f***ed by the refs here. -

QUOTE (RockRaines @ Jan 16, 2016 -> 11:08 PM) Omg. That's a call Rodgers gets That's a call basically any QB gets actually. Pretty blatant especially where the DB never played the ball. -

That was pretty clear pass interference by Arizona on third down. Some big missed no calls go against the Packers. -

That is a pretty phenomenal catch for a running back. -

QUOTE (RockRaines @ Jan 16, 2016 -> 10:41 PM) If GB adds an every down RB it helps them quite a bit imo Oh no Carson Lacy was pretty damn good his first two years. The problem is you can't really rely on a guy when he has put on that much weight. -

QUOTE (RockRaines @ Jan 16, 2016 -> 10:33 PM) Abbrederis is a lot better than people give him credit for. He used to tear us up. Lacy is flat out fat. Slow as hell. I just hope GB doesn't pick up someone like Elliott in the draft to give them that breakaway back that plays every down. Abbrederis was a stud in college and I was surprised he fell as far as he did in the draft but he has battled injuries in the NFL including an ACL tear so hasn't even gotten on the field. And agree on Lacy. He has put on a ton of weight since college, if you pull up a picture of him from the title game against Notre Dame and look at him now it is insane. -

QUOTE (RockRaines @ Jan 16, 2016 -> 10:09 PM) It's amazing. AZ has shut down Jones but it doesn't matter. Slow ass Lacy even woke up. James Jones who got cut by the Raiders this year is their current #1. Abbrederis is #2 and Jeff Janis is #3. Their defense has played really well and Palmer hasn't been on his game but its still incredible. Lacy has never been fast but he clearly isn't in as good of shape as he was his last year at Bama or his first couple years in the league. I've never seen him look this slow. -

So the Packers are currently winning a playoff game without any of their top 4 WRs playing. -
QUOTE (fathom @ Jan 16, 2016 -> 09:53 PM) Is there any question the Spurs are the best team this year I hope the Spurs and Warriors both stay healthy because I really want to see them square off in the conference finals this year. That could be an incredible series.

Barring an insane comeback the Warriors are about to take their 4th loss of the season.
-
Noah out 4-6 months so he is almost certainly done for the year.

Can we please get an AD in place so we can move on from Groce after this year? I'm sick of Illinois letting bad coaches hang on too long (i.e. Zook two years too many, Weber at least two years to many, Beckman two years too many). First test for the new AD will be actually making a coaching move when it needs to be made. -

There really aren't any great teams in college basketball this year. This feels like one of those years where the tourney is wide open. -
Lol at Noah. What a terrible shooter these days.

QUOTE (bigruss22 @ Jan 14, 2016 -> 06:13 PM) Only concern is his lack of hiring coaches experience, but many of the candidates were in that boat. I agree that his lack of seasoning is a concern, but if he is that smart/likeable then I'm happy. That is definitely a concern but on the other side of that coin Mike Thomas had hired Brian Kelly, Butch Jones and Mick Cronin at Cincinnati and he was a terrible fit at Illinois. -

QUOTE (illinilaw08 @ Jan 14, 2016 -> 05:55 PM) Whitman was in my law school class. Great dude and really, really smart. Would have liked for him to have a bit more seasoning, but if he's the hire, that's amazing. I'm good with it. Really high ceiling hire. Doesn't have the experience you would like but super intelligent people can often overcome experience and as a former athlete hopefully he will do well with the boosters. Plus, while his floor as an AD might be pretty low it isn't like the revenue sports can get that much worse at Illinois then they are right now. -
QUOTE (Joshua Strong @ Jan 13, 2016 -> 02:49 PM) Amber Heard is going to play Mera, the wife of Aquaman and warrior queen of Atlantis for those not familiar with the comics. Word around the campfire was that WB was looking at minority actresses for the role. She could, along with Atlantis appear in Justice Leauge Part One before the solo Aquaman film. Nobody cares about Aquaman. Aquaman sucks. And until WB proves they can make a good DC movie not directed by Nolan I have no interest in any of their stuff (including Batman v. Superman which just doesn't look remotely interesting).
