Must admit I couldn't care less if he returns quickly. It seems like he's going the wrong direction overall. Almost always swings at the first pitch with lots of soft ground balls. Last third of his rookie year and the short 2020 season he looked like a beast in training. Not any more.

So far in Charlotte, 16 Ip 15 hits 4 walks 17 strike outs 3 dingers. Not bad. Homers and Charlotte go hand in hand.

Maybe they might try piggybacking with Dallas for a few starts. Start one guy and then bring in the other to flip the other teams line up. The lefty righty thing might help both of them a little.

One reason for optimism. Sox have a legit chance at having a true Big 3 in the playoffs. Only time will tell of course. From early results though, having to face Cease ,Kopech and Gio 2 times each in a 7 game series could be very scary. If Lynn comes back to his normal self, He'd be a very strong game 4 starter as well. Gotta make the playoffs first. Lets get healthy please!
