Vaughn already is a solid defensive 1B. He'll be the starter there by 2021. Give Collins 60-70 starts at 1B in 2020. See if he can play there as a solid back up. An awful lot of things will have to go right to compete in 2020. 2021 we could be a World Series contender.

As for the original question. I'd take Strasberg. But this being the White Sox, I'd settle for Zack Wheeler.

He would be a big improvement over what we have now. With Eloy and Robert handling the other 2 spots, we wouldn't have any more black holes in the outfield. The fact that he'll be relatively cheap compared to other OF's leaves more $ to spend on Pitching.

Not right now it doesn't. I would hope our scouts know more than we do who has a better chance at a bounce back season. Of course this is the White Sox we're talking about, so maybe not. If I could do one thing for this organization, I'd steal every scout the Rays have.

Too early I think. Next September is my guess for White Sox superiority. With 1 full years experience for Cease,Kopech Madrigal,Robert and Collins. Sox could be dominant for 5-10 years. Although we will never be as popular as the Cubs, a world series win will more than make up for it. One more thing. I've always kind of liked being the runt of the litter, so to speak. It makes winning a little sweeter.

Moncada missed by 10-15 feet last night, but Jimenez took another out to RF again. I think his last 3 have been opposite field. Where do you pitch Jimenez going forward? Next year he might hit 50.

Again hire Ozzie. Jerry only hires White Sox alum. No kids ,no bunting. Thought Ozzie turned into a diva. 10 Years out of the game should have cured that. It will be his last chance. He's smart enough to know it. A slightly humbled OG is better than 90% of managers. Plus, to JR's delight, he'll work cheap.

And it's not like Jose has a mantle full of gold gloves.

I hope they get great play from Yoan,Eloy,Leury,Gio and Abreu. I hope Ricky and the other stiffs on the roster do what they always do. Hopefully we hold onto a top 10 pick next year. Top 10's are still exempt from compensation .
