  1. Something else from his past will almost certainly emerge if he stays in the spotlight making hundreds of millions. There are so many reasons why MLB should stay the hell away. I am hopeful they will.
  2. So the old man is going to come to ST and watch a couple games. Give him a pencil and a piece of notebook paper and let him think he’s doing something. While this whole thing is silly, it seems harmless.
  3. Only reason I could think of is White Sox pitchers like throwing to him, especially Giolito.
  4. Lionsin is going to do it this time, I can feel it.
  5. Is there a reason this guy’s tweets are being shared? Is there any reason to believe he knows anything?
  6. Not only is it horrible PR for the team/MLB, you have to think about the actual players who would have to spend the majority of their life with this person, and more importantly how the players’ wives feel about that. I don’t care if he is innocent in the court of law, the guy has something wrong with him. It’s a ticking time bomb, and I’m not talking about him “ruffling feathers” for being outspoken.
  7. No thanks. MLB is doing their best to blackball him, and there’s good reason.
  8. Is this an Outman/Cespedes comparison? If so, I’m here for it.
  9. I could see Kelly having a better season than Graveman next year.
  10. We are never signing a free agent again.
  11. TA, too much emotion. Moncada, not enough emotion. Danny Mendick, just right.
  12. I was responding to the post saying the Giants would be lucky to get three years of surplus value. I did not say anything about the back end. There’s no question they will be eating money in the last few years, but there is crazy value in the front of that contract.
  13. It’s 27mil per year. He will only be 28 next season, and he has been worth 27mil every season of his career so far. He’s been worth almost double that in some seasons.
  14. TA did like two bat flips three years ago. Not sure why he’s always referenced in the discussion of excessive or disrespectful bat flipping. Even when he hit the Field of Dreams walk-off on his biggest stage, he didn’t bat flip. He just did that thing where he ran around the bases flapping his hands by his neck. Anyways, most people enjoy watching players who enjoy playing the game. Let’s also not forget the children. I don’t have much of a chance with my five year becoming a White Sox fan or even a baseball fan without players who are fun and exciting to watch. We all know we can’t just rely on winning over here.
