And reinsdorf definitely knows how much more value harper has because of the business side, but he doesn't care. Reinsdorf literally doesn't care about stars. When's the last time he signed an actual star to his team, white sox or bulls? I'm not even sure he ever has Edit: Signed as a free agent, not drafted or traded for.

I agree 100%. But I'm not saying they should have had a chance to MATCH but im saying they should have had a chance to BEAT from lazano. How would you not give your most serious suitor throughout the offseason a chance to make more money for your client?
