Another great write up. Although I disagree about Robert. I don't know why they don't take into consideration his fall ball at bats or spring at bats, which are both higher level pitching than he is currently facing. I think he has shown he is ready to be moved up.

I don't think that is true at all. I think with having Futuresox, we have a group of people who are experts on our system. These lists, while done by well informed experienced opinions, don't have the background or complete understanding that Futuresox has. It is easier for us to see where they are off on their opinions for us. We also take into consideration other lists and peoples opinion and can point out where they differ from the rest of the scouting community. When everybody else loves Cease FGs isn't high on him and we can point to other educated opinions on why we think they are wrong. There are some people who question this lists and the peoples credentials, most of us just look at it as another piece to the puzzle.

In my unbiased opinion it is easily the best ranking and info you'll get on the sox farm system

If Collins is listed as 1b than Zavala should be too. I forget who, but it was said both would get playing time at 1b. Also isn't Curbelo a 3b?

You realize when a thread topic breaks down like this, people quit coming to it because they don't wanna read post after post of people calling each "discussing" (it showed all the signs of arguing, like calling each other illogical and questioning others sanity, but you said its not arguing) Thus the original topic gets drowned and people quit caring to visit the topic. The thread title is "Sox interested in Yolbert Sanchez." Something nice about message boards is you can start a new thread to discuss a new topic. So if you wanted to evolve your discussion to something else, you can start a new topic while people who still wanted to talk about the other topic can still do that.

Sorry... I just found your "discussion" boring. "i'm right" "how could you say that, I'm right" "No this is what I mean which make me right" "That's so illogical, this is how you should see it, I'm right" in a thread topic that is about a player we might be trying to get, not what you guys are "discussing." I wanted to discuss with another poster why he isn't a fan of signing him, and I disagreed with him, but my post got lost in your "discussion"

Ok but if the scouting community seems to think of him as a top 10 player in the class there has to be more to it than that. Either that or its not a good intl class. Are you just upset at the kind of player rather than the approach? Because I think the approach is what should be done... Get a top guy for about half your pool and then fill it out with a bunch of lower guys.

While I guess I see your frustration of a guy who cant hit, I think getting a top 10 int prospect with some really strong tools as the head of this class isn't a bad thing. I am interested to see how the whole class plays out.

He is in the top 4 for this years intl class... what more do you want?

I'm super excited about these 2. I am glad they moved Bush up with Sosa and Nunez. It will be interesting if these 3 can keep moving up together.

Keith Law says he has a good arm and calls a good game but is a below average receiver. To me that doesn't say he cant play catcher. And if baseball goes to an automated strike zone, there is no reason to believe he cant stay there...

As excited as I am about Bush, I am more excited for Lenyn Sosa.

I am still very high on our farm. Our OFs in AA and the IF in Kann have me most excited. I am also excited for our draft pick. I am looking forward to Madrigal proving doubters wrong. I am also excited for Zavala and Collins as our platoon Cs.
