  2. Would love to see Rutherford and Flete in Winston-Salem very soon.
  3. I think I would say the Sale trade just because the guys we got in return are so much closer to the big leagues and have had more success at higher levels.
  4. Moncada now 0-2 after grounding into a double play in the 3rd.
  5. Danish has done a nice job of getting out of some early jams so far today.
  6. QUOTE (Username @ Jul 18, 2017 -> 11:28 AM) Can't believe Danish is only 22. Probably wouldn't have helped at all but man he was rushed. I still think he'll end up being a nice bullpen piece.
  7. With so many good pitching prospects, we are bound to have some guys in the bullpen. Where do we think they end up? Here is what I think... Kopech- Starter Giolito- Long Reliever Lopez- Starter Fulmer- Reliever Cease- Reliever Hansen- Starter Dunning- Reliever Adams- Reliever Stephens- Starter
  8. Moncada 0-1 with a popout. Danish scoreless after the first.
  9. QUOTE (Username @ Jul 18, 2017 -> 11:15 AM) Totally agreed. If it's just a lower-level arm that failed a physical they would've probably figured it out by now. My take? The Nationals traded for Madson and Doolittle roughly a day after the Frazier rumors started. Willing to bet the Red Sox were in on one of those two, and the Nats closing the deal has spurred them to go after DRob. That makes sense. Would be very interested to see the kind of return we could get for both of those guys. Maybe Jay Groome and Josh Tobias?
  10. Have to think at this point teams are trying to find a way to get Robertson involved in a deal. Feels like this Frazier to Boston talk started forever ago.
  11. Charlotte taking on Rochester right now. Winston Salem with a DH tonight against Lynchburg (Hansen on the bump in the first game). Great Falls hosts Grand Junction tonight. Birmingham and Kannapolis are off.
  12. I went with the Birmingham group because I think that Kopech has the most star potential. I also love Jordan Stephens. Can't wait to see him pitch for Charlotte.
  13. I think it would be perfect timing for him. He's on a roll, he would get to work with Coop, and he would be pitching in no pressure situations.
  14. Right now he is the leadoff hitter with Charlotte. I think he would be an excellent 2-hole hitter with Chicago.
  15. I think that he has but earned it. I would love to see him with the White Sox for that last 2+ months of the season.
  16. Some highly rated pitching prospects on the bump today.
  17. It's getting to a point where I just need to sit back and trust Hahn. He knows what he is doing.
  18. Awful news. Hoping for a smooth recovery!
  19. So its been a little over a day since the trade happened. How is everyone feeling about it now? I'm excited, the only thing that scares me is how far away they are. Obviously we didn't need anyone that could contribute right now, but getting a bunch of guys that aren't proven in the higher level scares me. That being said, I love the trade still. I think Jimenez is the best single prospect we could've gotten in return. Also like "replacing" Quintana with a top pitching prospect as well.
  20. Really thought a a Robertson trade would get the ball rolling.
  21. Will be interesting to see how quickly Robertson gets moved now.
  22. 2018 we'll be fun to watch with Moncada, Lopez, Fulmer and Burdi most likely up. However, I don't see the playoffs at all next year. I think in 2019 we can be competitive. All 4 of those guys will be up, as well as Kopech, Giolito and Stephens potentially. 2020 is when we should be competing for the division. All of our top guys should be up by then. However, it'll still be a really young group.
  23. Love the trade for both sides. I think it'll be fairly quickly when we see Cubs fans on Twitter really showing an appreciation for Q.
  24. Really good trade for both teams. Them only risk is on the White Sox end. We just traded one of the best pitchers in the game. And we didn't get anyone above High-A. This deal is all about potential. Love the White Sox going for it though. Our farm is loaded!
  25. QUOTE (iamshack @ Jul 12, 2017 -> 12:16 PM) Soo... Has a starter been announced for Friday yet? Not yet, according to whitesox.com.
