  1. I have a home in Florida and I enjoy watching the Rays. Marlins are somewhat enjoyable too, just they have those putrid uniforms.
  2. I don’t ever remember a team that had quit so completely, two years in a row. It’s really astonishing.
  3. Actually it’s there for you to see if you like. Right here on these pages. I don’t have that many posts so it should be easy. I was attacked as being a Cubs fan, bitter, all of it. Take a look.
  4. And you have at least three teams in this division that are serious. Not sure about Kansas City.
  5. I don’t expect Hahn to be fired or resign in the next year. He is incapable of humility. They are over insulated.
  6. And Cease is just about league average this year. Looks like he was a one year wonder.
  7. You can’t even count 2020. Expanded berths in a fake season with no fans. They were exposed in 2021.
  8. One of the years was an extended spring training season. They would have missed the postseason if not for expanded berths in that fake season. Colossol failure is more like it. They were in the postseason in one real season in the worst division in all of baseball. By a wide margin.
  9. 80% voted 7 or higher. 40% 9 or higher. Most of the board had the Sox winning the Central this year. So it doesn’t surprise me when I read the Giolito thread and see “What a great haul we got!” I remain pessimistic.
  10. At this point I’m kind of hoping Hahn keeps his job. He doesn’t deserve to be relieved of this humiliation. And resignation would be way too easy
  11. Shouldn't a prerequisite for being a superstar be ... making an All Star game, once?
  12. They really don't have anybody who will bring in a haul. Possibly Roberts but he's so injury prone I doubt a team would give up the farm for him.
  13. 90% of the league is ahead of them in the standings. Edit: sorry you were talking about the Cubs.
  14. 0% chance of a wild card happening. 100 losses is a possibility, even with beating the Cubs.
  15. I’ve been rooting against this loser organization for a while now but I can never root for the Cubs. Hopefully the series is rained out.
  16. I don’t believe lots of GMs know better than fans who follow very closely. They may know more about contracts and injuries. This is certainly true for the Sox.
  17. Also if the new GM is Getz there’s a good chance he’s worse than the old GM.
  18. Compared to other teams and specifically division rivals they have been quite healthy.
  19. Burger who is second on the team in home runs.
  20. Yeah you’re right. I guess I’ve been blinded by Giolito being just ok and Lynn having a decent start here and there. I figured Cease was a one year wonder and I always knew Kopech was a guy who just wanted to throw 115 mph and didn’t really care about pitching. And I always root against Clevinger.
