  1. I think he must mean one of Ohtani’s children or another relative of Ohtani.
  2. I don’t think anyone wants a cancer that can’t hit or field.
  3. As long as there are at bats like the viral one from the other day I don’t think it matters. He’s already quit.
  4. I don’t think Anderson gets moved. I think the Sox are stuck with him.
  5. These guys are the masters at Chicago sports insults. https://www.chicagofanatics.com/viewforum.php?f=33&sid=c6b10b9b8488860ae3c47a4dad085cdc
  6. I don't generally disagree but I hate the holier-than-thou inconsistency. Either keep everything private or don't run down others when they post private bad news. (Not accusing you of doing so.)
  7. 3) Citation needed 4) Then it’s not our business when any of these guys do charitable work around the city. Either it’s private or it’s not. They don’t get to accept the praise and have the bad swept under the rug. 5) This is not in a vacuum. There is something broken with this organization. Edit: For the record I don’t give a rats rear end what happens in Giolito’s life or how many chicks Anderson knocks up or any of that nonsense. But consistency is a thing and if they are going to accept the praise then they can’t avoid the criticism. Also I can’t stand when holier than thou people say “it’s none of our business!!!” In one breath and in another talk about what great guys we have because of their work in the charitable communities. It’s nauseating.
  8. I never heard anybody complaining when Giolito got good press for doing some charitable work. Where was the privacy crowd when the news was good news?
  9. But it’s not in a vacuum. It’s not an outlier. You have to pretend not to see things to pretend things aren’t messed up with everyone associated with this franchise.
  10. With Getz’s minor league system destined to destroy any draftee I would just be happy with anyone who can learn the coaches names.
  11. I don’t sense any depression from someone living in the town of Realville.
  12. This. I would get no joy out of the smack down this unlikeable bunch of clowns would get if they ever sniffed the post season.
  13. I’ve been saying that since that ten game losing streak. They have reached fun bad. Finding new exciting ways to lose. It’s hilarious.
  14. I’m sorry your parents died but that was the best LOL moment in a while.
  15. Agreed. 90 seems about right but I could see as high as 95.
  16. It seems that their modern day floor is about 1.6 million, which they are pretty close to (slightly above) right now. I don’t think they drop off more next year. I can’t see 1.4 or lower which would be a 25 year low. It would be laughably fun to see.
  17. AL Central Standings since June 7 Cleveland 16-11 Minnesota 14-13 Detroit 12-15 Chicago 10-17 Kansas City 7-20 This division remains just putrid.
  18. 79 wins would be 42-31 from here on out. When was the last time this team had a stretch playing 11 games over .500? Early 2021?
  19. They would have to go 40-33 from this point to win 77. I still think 90 losses is more likely.
  20. You’re not wrong but you must be too young to remember Bevington.
  21. Now is the time to trade Lynn. He’s peaking. Don’t hang on to him for too long.
  22. You’re right. I thought almost everyone had at least some fake humility. Heck, even Ja Morant could fake it a little bit. I can’t figure out why people don’t like this guy.
