Opening up my mind to giving the season a clean slate
FloydBannister1983 replied to Richie's topic in Pale Hose Talk
I think there’s no pitching there except for Hendricks if he’s the same. This starting staff is putrid outside of Giolito. -

Do you think the Sox will have the same team, an improved team, or a diminished team for the next 111 games? -

So they won’t be sellers at the trade deadline? -

If they continue to play 9-7 over the next six weeks they will still end up being sellers at the deadline and then it will get uglier. The hole they dug for themselves ensures they will be sellers at the trade deadline. It is inevitable. -
Garfein: Tim Anderson hates pitch clock, not Chicago

Lol, nothing there. When you’re a hammer everything looks like a nail. Welcome to my blocked list. -

A lot. They twist themselves into pretzels to blame everyone else for him being an a—hole. -

I agree. Well said. Abreu is a class act. Giolito at least tries. Anderson is an a—hole. Always has been. -
Does anyone really think Hahn/Williams would turn the top pick into a good major league player?

Do the White Sox have too much starting pitching?

Anyone denying that is doing a complete torture of this history here. -

I remember a thread where people were drooling about how swole Kopech and Jimenez were and were jerking each other off over the theee future Hall of Famers Jimenez and Roberts and Moncada. -

I think you’ve confused it with ChicagoFanatics, who were always skeptics and most were always hilarious when doing so. -

And they ran off a good number of skeptics. It turned into WSI here for a while. -
My work colleague and I used to comment that these guys didn’t need agents, the fans did their work for them. Perusing the boards from 2017-2019 you have more people than should have been proclaiming Roberts and Moncada and Jimenez future Hall of Famers. We had threads that told us we should picture Kopech and Giolito as future Verlanders. So you can forgive their overconfidence a bit. Hahn should have known to underpromise and over deliver.

There were plenty of people who thought he was the Sox Theo. -

Opening up my mind to giving the season a clean slate

People were speculating where they would be if they swept KC. They may lose the series 3-1. Cease and Lynn pounded by the light Royals. This team has zero pitching. -

Im not sure they are a .500 team when healthy. The pitching on this team is non existent. Giolito may have figured it out again for a bit before he is traded. Cease seems to be a one year wonder. Clevinger and Lynn are not good and Lynn will be traded. Kopech is not good. The bullpen is a dumpster fire. Will Hendricks be the same after his illness? -
I know there’s still two months to go but who could possibly be picked from this putrid team? Giolito? Burger?

At least if there are other enough people humiliated maybe it would create an inside mutiny.
