    Seth Beer with a walk off HR vs Padres. Complete meltdown from Padres bullpen after a gem from Darvish. Entered 9th with a 2-0 lead. 2 walks, HPB, Wild Pitch, HR. Zero outs recorded.

    Yeah, he was getting hammered. Angels broadcast said the Gurriel flyout would have been a HR in 28 of 30 parks. Tucker's would have been in 20 of 30 parks.

    I am jacked up for this trade. Really think this will help us spank the competition. Collins wasn't a jerk, but he was really starting to rub me the wrong way. Now Grandal won't have to play with himself as the only legit catcher on the roster. This will give Tony a hand when setting the lineup when Grandal needs a day off. Not sure McGuire has much of an offensive stroke, but he can handle himself behind the plate and maybe he'll whack a few out of the park.

    A real bummer, but not at all surprising. I wonder if it would have been the smart move to give him the surgery after 2020 when his forearm was acting up in the playoffs. He'd likely be close to fully rehabbed by now.

    Not saying Boras/Rosenthal aren't posturing. But what do they have to gain from "planting" this story? The clubs involved with Conforto would know if this is true or not. Just trying to figure out the angle for Boras to make this up.
