Big stretch coming up with the Jays, Rays, and Astros all on the schedule in the next two weeks. Sox can establish themselves as the top team in the AL heading into the mid-season mark.

Sale has finished top 6 in Cy voting 7 times, but never won the award. A fact that I learned like 2 years ago that blew mind: Nolan Ryan never won a Cy Young award. I was born in 91 so I wasn't old enough to remember his career. I had just assumed he won like 4 or 5 Cy Youngs. In his 27 seasons, he only finished top 5 in Cy voting 6 times.

Going into the playoffs with our current pen would be a massive mistake, in my opinion. I think adding an arm, or 2, is a must. Trading for a pen arm on an expiring contract is typically not too steep of a price to pay.

Disagree. Bullpens are fickle year-to-year. Guys can be great one year, bad the next. I think adding a couple arms at the deadline is a must for this team. Hendriks and Kopech are studs. Crochet is pretty reliable right now but not a sure thing. Bummer and Heuer I still have hope for. The rest are replaceable in my opinion. If you can add one elite arm and another solid guy to that mix, you're in good shape.
