  1. Tony possibly yelling at Yermin for swinging 3-0? Please don't bench him today.
  2. Engel should be back soon, La Russa said he's basically at 100% now.
  3. Heyman pretty much saying nothing here but thought I'd share.
  4. You have an uncanny ability to be wrong about everything you say. Giolito is garbage right now. I don't care what the batted ball data says about those two HRs. I am by no means giving up in him, but he's trash so far in 2021.
  5. I doubt Ramirez is traded this season, and if he is, I doubt even more he'd be traded within the division. HOWEVER, imagine adding him to this team and sticking him at 2B. A package with Madrigal, Burger, Kelley, +. Maybe? Idk, just spit balling here because the thought of sticking him at 2 in our order for the next 3 seasons makes me drool.
  6. Does anybody know when the last time the Sox had the best record in baseball this late in the season? 2016 we were tops in the AL until mid-May but the Cubs had a better record. Maybe 2010 when they were red hot in June and July? 2006? 2005 for sure.
  7. Sox will have the best record in the AL when they win this game. 1/2 game behind SF for best record in baseball.
  8. No. Minimum 3 batter rule is erased if you finish an inning. However, we will probably see him in the 7th.
  9. This is such a bad take and I'm surprised how many people are spouting this off. No Eloy, Robert, Engel. There's not a front office in the league that can prepare to withstand this many injuries.
  10. Twins fall to 11-19 after losing to Texas in extras. They are now 0-7 in extra inning games. Indians about to sweep KC in a 4 game series. I believe KC's bullpen blew 2, maybe 3 games in the series. My bet is on Cleveland to be the Sox biggest threat to win the Central. They have 3 really good starters in Bieber, Plesac, and Civale. A dynamite back end of the bullpen. Their lineup is not good but they've been scoring a lot of late runs and Ramirez is playing at an MVP level. Also, they might have the best manager in the AL. They're just a huge pain in the ass and I expect them to stay in this thing for the majority of the season. The Sox are by far the more talented team but injuries, bullpen, and poor managing have hurt us in the early going.
  11. HERE'S A JOURNALIST IN THE AMERICAN LEAGUE WHO KNOWS NOTHING ABOUT THE GAME OF BASEBALL
  12. There is nowhere for him to play. No shot
  13. Is it true that Hendriks did not have to be the runner?
  14. We should be more concerned with Cleveland than KC
