Hasn't this been proven a fallacy? Since ALL players have drastic home road splits? There are tons of batters who did just fine after leaving COL. Arenado and Lemahieu are immediate ones that comes to mind
If we kept Kimbrel, I am fine with them sharing the duties and if Kimbrel looks great again, and Hendriks looks great as the 8th, then I am fine with it. Skeptical though
We handled his development to a starter horribly. Undisputed. He is now a reliever for his career unless someone wants to let him pitch in the minors for 2+ years to build up innings
What do you imagine we could get for him now that he had the horrendous end to 2020? I honestly have no idea. Any comps/name ideas to give me a clearer picture?
I'm not certain they will/or should decline his option. I have a feeling they pick it up to try to have another year to prove the trade wasn't a disaster.
