  1. I've always liked Honeycutt, could he be a 2nd round type guy given his weaker hit tool or no chance?
  2. I just remember someone (Law?) saying he swings at like 40% of pitches outside of the zone.
  3. According to the insiders (whom i trust), we have no interest in a SP at 5.
  4. Im still Griffin since we don’t want Smith
  5. more Cags swing and miss concerns.. yikes.. hard hard hard pass
  6. I really had big hope for Pallette. Loved that pick. Still love the idea of grabbing TJ guys in the 2nd and 3rd who were highly touted. Just hasn't worked (yet).
  7. This is where I am at. Wish Hagen Smith was an option... yawn. Skipping on Smith seems very much like drafting for 'need'
  8. I think all of us would.. He's arguing not to accept a package much less than this.
  9. My mind immediately went to 'Tuah'
  10. I certainly would hope so.. Don't get 'cute'.. Especially with Condon. I get having more reserve with Bazzana (2B only), but i'd still not pass on him if there
  11. Agreed. Hammy's can just never heal fully and always flare up.
  12. If they want younger you can probably get Bradfield instead of Norby.
  13. I think you can get Fedde with a Norby led package pretty easily. Norby and Beavers would be awesome.
  14. The Sox are proof everything can change quickly
  15. Love your work. Fine by me if we go pitching is rounds 2-3 if they are HS or big fallers.. If this is what happens, I wouldn't love 4/6 pitchers, but do like the Hurd pick later.
  16. I would hope we wouldn't be dumb enough to pass if he unforceanly fell to us..
  17. That Cags write up is terrifying to me... Can't lay off college pitching outside of the zone? EEK
  18. Interesting you now think they take Jac if he is there at 5.. IF the rockies stay with a pitcher, Which of Condon/Bazzana do you think the A's take, and would we take the other at 5 if they fell there?
  19. I don't think it's necessarily down.. But the Orioles have seen what Westburg can do in the MLB (all star caliber). Going into this season, that was an unknown. Since he appears to be a stud, it may make Holliday expendable for the right guy (I don't think the Sox have that guy)
