  1. I think. Paxton does have worse injury history and a lower ceiling though. But yes, he's Kluber-lite this offseason. I'd be happy
  2. Yeah, I'd be content with a lot of guys. Id probably have him behind these
  3. 1. Bauer (obviously) 2. Quintana (reliable) 3. Paxton (ceiling) 4. Jake Odorizzi 4. Tanaka (reliable) 5. Walker (young/ceiling) 6. Cole Hamels 7. Rich Hill 8. Garrett Richards
  4. Tatis and Machado, yes. Plus they're in the same spot as us so it is indeed fun to compare the two.
  5. fun fact: Rich Hill pitches more innings than Garret Richards
  6. Give me Rich Hill for a 1/3 of the cost of Richards. Quintana would be my #1 though. Richards #million
  7. This didn't convince me one bit. Because Kopech won't pitch until July if lucky. And I don't want to count on both being good right away. Also.. this doesn't mention his likelihood of being hurt,
  8. Usually I can be warmed up into any signing.. But so far no one has convinced me on Richards. Sure, he has some potential still. But it also is clear he hasn't pitched more than 70ish innings since 2015.. That's 5 years ago. This appears to be a trend more than a fluke.. This is the opposite guy we need as our filler. We need someone to take innings.
  9. Don't you think he'd want to unofficially agree so that he can play in their leagues and training sites?
  10. LETS GOOOOOOOOOO! You assume he has a deal in place with someone?
  11. Sadly, idk if we can count on Richards to go that long.. but yes haha
  12. Yeah, I too don't get Richards.. We need someone who can give innings, he, unfortunantely cannot.
  13. I always thought this. 1 year for 12-15 seems right.. Minor just got 11.
  14. Whoever this writer is is stupid. Dom Smith over Alonso? I stopped reading after that.
  15. Here is the trade: White Sox Get: Corbin Burnes Omar Narvaez Brewers Get: Nick Madrigal Zack Collins Jonathan Stiever Codi Heuer
  16. Vaughn yes, Collins no. But I have no problem giving Vaughn time in the minors.
  17. I think Narvaez and Vogelbach could each be 2nd pieces received from Brewers.
  18. The question is do the Brewers think they can realistically contend for a NL crown, if not, and they too are concerned about Burnes ability to throw 200 innings, it could make sense to sell "high".. Or at least see what the offers are.
