    Having Kopech as your 4 in the playoffs sounds great to me. The guy literally has the highest ceiling on our rotation

    I personally don't want to trade more good prospects for Musgrove and would prefer a signing, like Quintana. I do not want to empty our farm.

    1. Joc 2. Dahl 3. Eaton This is assuming no Springer.. I don't really want to trade for a RF unless it's a stud. Many guys I'd roll with in FA over a Calhoun (example) trade.

    My understanding was they had the 250 for a long time and a big lead and thought they had him... Probably until the day before when the Padres found out how low the offer was.

    The only way you sign Schwarber is to play him everyday in RF/DH. He will find full time jobs somewhere.. I personally don't hate it, but I like homers LOL

    While not yet by any means.. This offseason would absolutely be a failure IF our signings consist of only (examples), Joc, Quintana and another meh starter.

    Is his D as bad as others have stated? I admitedly don't know but his dWAR is right around 0 every year, which to me sounds "passable"

    Gallo seems to be way over hyped.. One year over 210 BA.. One year over .330 OBP.. and only one year above a 3 WAR.. prospects.

    Those 2 aren't even comparable. Kelley is already more highly touted than Stiever.

    My Stiever, Sheets and Lambert proposal seems pretty spot on right about now. And I'd do it.. Keep all the top arms and young high ceiling guys (Kelley, Dalquist, Thompson)

    We wouldn't have Keuchel if we had Wheeler, so we'd be in the same spot of needing a starter.
