This is where I am at in terms of the draft. Smith, Griffin, and Rainer are who I'd want to target. I want very little to do with the college bats that may be there at 5.
I hope they don't pass on Smith simply because of what appears to be strong starting pitching depth in the minors. If they pass for another reason, so be it.
Shocked it was the Angels trade but I expected a backend top 100 for Gio and the Lynn/Kelly wasn't a surprise either. Gravemen was the biggest value surprise for me for sure
No history of innings. Reasonable to think he won't be a full time starter for 2 more seasons. If his value is high now, it may be a good time to flip him.
They took the risk of having Cease during the season.. We clearly were not wanting to do that and it could pay. Luckily Iriarte is looking really really good (if you forget his 8 walks yesterday)
