  1. It has to be Bader AND O'Neil otherwise this doesn't make sense for the Rays. Both those outfielders were BACK END 100 prospects a few years ago but neither of their prospect shine has gotten any brighter.. Gotta be both.
  2. have you even seen their payroll situation or their minor league situation? Dodgers, Yankees and Redsox (teams you mentioned) have generally ALWAYS had strong minor league systems to help them quickly re-tool. Nice try
  3. "the dodgers essentially play the game based on what the computer says".... That's a super duper hot take since the Dodgers have been one of the best teams the past decade.
  4. But he is and always has been treated like he's Ruth, Aaron, Mays, etc. He's been treated like he's an all time great because he's a lifetime Yankee.
  5. I would think the Cubs would want best prospects. Their time to rebuild is now. They cannot re-tool (trade for worse MLB ready guys) with their payroll and roster the way it is. Trade for Royce Lewis even though he's years away, and has some bust potential. Or Kiriloff who will debut this year.
  6. I agree he eventually should get into the hall. But he was NOT a first ballot hall of famer on his play alone, let alone 90%+ imo.
  7. Most overrated player in my entire lifetime.
  8. The issue here is that Machado was given a contract WAY below market value. So it allowed at team, (Padres) to come in and offer him market value.. Donaldson is already probably there or above it so someone won't just "swoop" in now, imo.
  9. AND Jose Ramirez forgot how to baseball the first two months of the season. But I also do not think Lindor will be on the Indians come the trade deadline, regardless of their positioning.
  10. I have been a massive fan of Rodon in the bullpen for 2+ years now.
  11. hmmm This offseason gets a B+ from me. Which is still outstanding. I just can't give them an A or A+ with Keuchel being our best SP addition (I don't hate it, just meh). B+ is great.
  12. Yeah his market completed died (which is what I expected).. There's got to be a point in which this would be a fine move... 3 years for 12-15 million a year seems to be that range.
  13. That's the exact type of guy I would like to sign now. Allen/Strop
  14. CL: Colome SU: Cischek (RH)- 8 inning depending on handedness SU: Bummer (LH) - 9 inning depending on handedness MR: Herrera MR: Fry MR: Marshall OPEN SPOT OPEN SPOT Still need a long man imo (McHugh)?
  15. I would love to try a reclamation project with Pedro Strop.. 1 year 4 million. Dude was lights out for a decade before last years debacle.
  16. This also allows us to hold onto McCann/Collins unless given a good deal. We now don't NEED to trade for a RP.
  17. ironically this is a guy that his traditional stats don't match the advanced stats. Sometimes guys just break the advanced stats mold. (Note: his advanced stats aren't super far off)
  18. He will be our 8 inning guy out of the gate. I like this a lot.
  19. I really like this deal.. especially with the relatively cheap option.
  20. Jimmy Nelson to the Dodgers for only 750k.... I'd have loved that.
