  1. Didn't they get rid of that rule? If not... my goodness lol
  2. I certainly would not put Bumgarner in a tier above Wheeler and Keuchel and this point in his career. . But I also see almost 0 chance bumgarner leaves the NL... He likes to hit too much
  3. probably due to his contract demands... relatively low risk, but high reward. He is the perfect guy we should sign as our SECOND starting pitcher addition. Can go between bullpen and starting seemlessly should we need him to since he has done that in the past
  4. Man Joc Pederson appears to be a good fit still. Even though he has 1 year left he isn't a difficult extension candidate. I am predicting the official offseason of: JD Martinez (5 years, 100 million) Zach Wheeler (5 years, 95 million) Joc Pederson (trade), try to extend. Alex Wood (1 year, 8 million, with incentives to get to 12 million) Resign Abreu to a 1 year, 14 million dollar deal with an option of 15 million for a 2nd year. One bullpen arm > 6mil per year. Obviously I'd love one of the two stud SP on the market.. But this would be a fantastic, and more realistic offseason imo
  5. but.... what if Collins is already worthless.........................
  6. Yeah he will be the next 300 million player.. For sure more than Machado and if I were a betting man, I would say more than Harper
  7. except that they rarely actually make it all the way to FA without an extension......
  8. I absolutely would love to trade for one of the Mets guys (Conforto or Nimmo).. I also would LOVE Abreu to not be 1B and move to DH, or get someone else.... What about trying to sign Moustakas as a 2B/1B?? Have him play 2B until Madrigal comes back up and then move him over to 1B.. He played 2B this year 50 or so games and was serviceable. He could also spell Moncada at 3B when Moncada needs rest. PLUS HE'S A LEFTY! I'm starting to like this idea the more I think about it......
  9. Almost every single team would take a mulligan on their first two picks.... That's the beauty of hindsight..
  10. I would love a guy like Seth Beer.. Not a top 100 and may not be ever due to his bad defense, however he has a top 50 bat no doubt... But man the dude can stick. As I said earlier, a move like this could open up the draft possibilies and make it easier to select a prep SS rather than Vaughn
  11. The Astros have been the team all along who have needed Abreu for the past 3 years.... Abreu for Seth Beer who says no? This could allow us to also take one of the prep SS in the draft and pass on Vaughn
  12. It's bad for winning baseball.
  13. I expect him to be around 10-15 at the mid-season list and 1-5 by the time the offseason list comes out.
  14. The Sox have a better chance of finishing with the worst record in the league (good chance) than they do of winning 75+ games... wtf are you talking about you think we will make the playoffs lol
  15. Singing the National Anthem at the South Bend Cubs stadium in a couple weeks... Should I wear my Sox hat.. HAHAHAH
  16. I can't believe how out of sight you actually are.. I could post the Billy Madison meme to you with every single one of your posts
  17. wow... These are amazing ideas. Someone get this guy in contact with our marketing department
  18. This is so dumb.... Rendon isn't a better hitter than Machado JD Martinez is a DH... Soto is currently not a better hitter than Machado Bryant is not a better hitter than Machado Votto is 96 and even so is still not a better hitter than Machado. Lindor is not a better hitter than Machado.. Though I'll say Lindor, Machado and Breg are close.. Anyways.. wtf are you smoking
