  1. Can someone copy and paste that article? That link only had the first 2 paragraphs
  2. QUOTE (Quin @ Jan 16, 2018 -> 11:29 AM) Whitley over Kopech? Seems odd. wait.. how? It's already released? How has Kopech gotten past?
  3. The 10th RHP last year was at #34 so we may just have Kopech
  4. Today they are supposed to release the top 10 RHP prospects. With a new top 10 coming each day. I don't see how Kopech isn't number 2 or 1. (Ohtani being 1). Maybe we could see Hansen crack their top 10 list of RHP. I think he is going to be top 50 so he'd be around there. LEGGO!
  5. Now what if they go out and sign Darvish/Arrieta... GO GIANTS! hahah
  6. If they can get Cueto back to form.. with adding Longoria and McCutchen (assuming last year wasn't a fluke), this team could be pretty good
  7. Giants aren't a terrible team people.. Let's not forget the year before last they should have beaten the Cubs in the playoffs but they blew it. Terrible year, not a terrible team.. Though, I see them closer to .500 than what they were 2 years ago
  8. QUOTE (Joshua Strong @ Jan 15, 2018 -> 02:38 PM) This is an awful trade for the Pirates. It's like you're playing as the Astros in OOTP and you force the Pirates to accept a s*** trade but in real life THIS IS EXACTLY RIGHT
  9. How did the Pirates not take the Frazier offer from the Yanks.. My God.. Frazier is light years ahead of anyone they got..
  10. QUOTE (Y2JImmy0 @ Jan 10, 2018 -> 05:55 PM) Hansen is absolutely on it. Yes. I have it Eloy, Kopech, (both top 10), Hansen and Robert (both top 50). Then I'd guess Cease around 80 and Dunning just outside
  11. QUOTE (credezcrew24 @ Jan 10, 2018 -> 02:59 PM) The current list has 6. I don't see why it would change. Because Rutherford was bad. he will drop outside of top 100
  12. QUOTE (Eminor3rd @ Jan 10, 2018 -> 12:55 PM) Thought it sounded weird that neither of Fisher or Tucker were even available as a centerpiece to get four years of Quintana, but that they'd both be available six months later, AFTER the WS victory, just to get only two years of Gerrit Cole. They'd have LOVED for us to take Fisher.. He was never off the table
  13. QUOTE (Y2JImmy0 @ Jan 10, 2018 -> 11:37 AM) Who said that? They have 6 on current list but that isn't updated. THey'll have 5 for sure though. I'm guessing they still have Rutherford on it. I'm thinking 4 for sure.. With probably Cease at the back end. Who are you thinking is the 5th for sure?
  14. QUOTE (KnightsOnMintSt @ Jan 10, 2018 -> 10:54 AM) According to MLB, the White Sox will have 6 in the Top 100. When does their list get released? Theirs is my favorite
  15. This tells me that we only have 4 in their top 100 list. Though Dunning is probably right outside of it.
  16. Ending the year at Winston Salem would be good. Then we can set eyes on ending in Double A the next year. Then by year 3 we can try to end the year in the MLB..
  17. Does Stephens remind anyone else of Buehrle? Not great stuff. Not tons of K's, not high on our prospect list but just always gets the job done.. No I'm not advocating he is Buiehrle, I'd be happy with a 5th starter role or BP from him. I just see some similarities
  18. I've always found Salazar to be underrated. I'd love him on this team. But like everyone else here has stated, his value is hard to peg.
  19. I have him as our third prospect (Eloy, Kopech, Hansen, Robert). I think he will be around top 50 when they release new lists and top 25 by the midway point next year when they update them. He is going to be a fast riser up the prospect boards. How I rank our top 10 prospects including those who came up last year (Moncada, Eloy, kopech, hansen, robert, giolito, lopez, Cease, Berger, Dunning). I could be missing a name there... but yes, i love hansen and am with you that he is underrated
  20. I'm going to guess around the same.. No Quintana, Robertson, Kahnle, Swarzak, Melky or Frazier for more than half the year.. I expect Avi to regress.. who doesn't? HOWEVER, I'd have to assume some improvements and positive steps from the prosepcts (Moncada, Giolito, Lopez, Kopech and Eloy (both will be up by the trade deadline)). So I will guess 65-70 wins.
  21. With the new CBA rules it has to be over 50 mil. So if he signs for under you lose nothing
  22. QUOTE (Moncada @ Jan 4, 2018 -> 11:18 AM) Yes, we think that since their is a larger pool that the breakdown is fair. $115 to Champ, $65 to runner-up, $15 to the other division champs and wild cards. I am out.. Not enough money for the top 4 spots.
