  1. Me too, if you can get Lawler. Otherwise they can't get it to work I think. Unless you LOVE Jones.
  2. They could not get it done without using MLB guys. They're a bad match for a Cease trade.
  3. I like Severino as a bounce back more than most of the other bounceback options.
  4. I agree. Kjerstad and Norby and the deal would be done I'd think. I think we want a better second piece (Ortiz/Mayo). I do like Norby a lot though
  5. I totally want to take Kristian Robinson in the draft. Former top 30 prospect (with helium) then had visa or some other issue for like 2-3 years. Came back last year and was pretty good after 3 years off. Get him.
  6. I’m indifferent on either. I prefer Cowsers plate discipline and versatility defensively. But Kjerstad seems to have the better pure bat. I’m fine with either as the headliner
  7. I just feel like the Rangers are kinda like the AL wild men. They’ve been crazy spending and making moves the past two years. They’re my dark horse
  8. Cuz his value at year 4, probably isn't significantly higher than at year 2. It's hard to get true value for a guy (potential superstar) with 4 years left.
  9. Plus I can't put together a braves package that would work without including MLB guys.
  10. for fun (and bored at work) here are all my asks for all the teams I can think of that may be interest: Cease for: Diamondbacks: Jordan Lawler and Brandon Pfaadt Orioles: Colton Cowser, Joey Ortiz, + Braves: I don't think they could make a package Cubs: Cade Horton, Owen Caissie and Matt Mervis Reds: Noelvi Marte and Rhett Lowder Astros: Can't pull it off Dodgers: Busch, Sheehan, + 50 grade prospect Yankees: Jasson Dominguez, Drew Thorpe, + Mariners: Cole Young, Colt Emerson and Emerson Hancock Giants: Kyle Harrison, Marco Luciano, + St Louis Cardinals: Jordan Walker lol Rangers: Wyatt Langford, Brock Porter, Justin Foscue Blue Jays: Ricky Tiedemann, Arjun Nimmala, ++ Maybe none of these work, i'm not a GM. I really like the Orioles the most and also like what the Rangers, and Mariners, could do. Yankees may be a sleeper if they truly do go out and grab Soto. They'd be "all in". I don't think the Braves or Astros could pull it off. They don't have enough without dealing from ML imo. I don't love the Cubs prospect package without PCA. I don't love the Dodgers #1 piece they can offer. Okay, bye now.
  11. I'd love for this to happen before i go on my cruise Saturday.. I'm too poor for internet LOL
  12. mmmmmm.. Rumors are like a drug i never wanna give up.
  13. Exactly. Most of these SoxTalk proposals I've seen seem to be crazy light.
  14. I'd be surprised if you had to offer him that much, but yeah, I'd offer him something. Flaherty 1/10, Giolito 1/12. Maybe even try to get 1/15 team options on both. If not, you're protected with the QO if all things go right for them.
  15. Flaherty and Giolito would be great gets. Potential QO if they pitch really well, OR if they pitch really well trade deadline pieces. We will suck anyways so if they suck, who cares.
  16. Sure there are cases where that's bad.. There are also minor cases where nothing comes of it. Who knows, has there been any report?
  17. IDK where else to put this. I just looked at Whitesox.com's depth chart and it lists Kopech as a bullpen piece. I find that interesting.
