  1. Moncada clearly has worn out his welcome. I would say Grandal as well simply because he sucked in 2022. And Anderson has been a disaster off the field recently, and to me has always felt entitled, poor work ethic.
  2. That's a lot of movement that can't be true lol.
  3. I am team Espada for the reason of 1. He's young. 2. He comes from a winning organization. 3. He speaks spanish. I know nothing else about him and his philosophies.
  4. Do you also expect payroll to decrease in 2022? What're your expectations?
  5. Our baseball players seem to always have the lowest baseball IQ
  6. I'd be fine with Benintendi if we improve other aspects of the team by quite a bit. But he does seem like a guy we will settle for and that be one of our "bigger" moves
  7. I think both are incredibly risky. Conforto for the reaasons you mentioned and Nimmo due to his vast injury histroy, and we are a team already riddled with injury prone players.
  8. I'd prefer Conforto at his expected contract than Nimmo.
  9. I guess I am not talking about short stints. Moncada 104 games, Anderson 79, robert 98, Eloy 84 for their games played. Albies missed a ton of the year and Acuna missed a lot. Strider wasn't expected to be a part of 2022, and his injury happened at the end of the year. Fried had 30 starts. The rest of the players you mentioned either had short few week stints or and just meh players to start with. I don't think there's a comparison between these two teams injuries personally
  10. I agree it sucks that our best players seemingly are ALL injury prone (Anderson, Robert, Eloy, Moncada). Do other successful teams have that many "core" players that are good for a few DL stints a year? I'd wager, no.
  11. Who the hell would have hope with the Cubs roster and their system?
  12. I agree I don't want another old coach coming out of retirement. Gimme someone younger who can speak spanish since the majority of our major players speak it
  13. You're giving Abreu an A for only have 15 homers?
  14. Lol, this is WAYYY too generous. I disagree strongly with almost everyone except Cease.
  15. He will be on the Astros. Makes too much sense for them
  16. 1. Colas makes debut by mid-April. 2. Sign Conforto 1 year 12 million with a team option for 15 million (I'll die on this bridge lol) 3. Let Abreu walk 4. Sign Kolten Wong once he is released by the Brewers 2/20 (Romy to platoon) 6. Sign an older veteran SP for around 10-12 mil. Clevinger? 7. Pollack as your 4th OF, and primary LF until Colas is ready. 8. Keep Sheets in AAA as 1B insurance and corner OF insurance 9. Actually sign some minor league depth contracts, preferably another OF (Haseley again?), and Pitching. This adds about 35 million to the payroll and would keep us under the luxury tax. This focuses on adding 3 left handed batters and would provide a far more balance lineup. Anderson (R), Conforto (L), Robert (R), Eloy (R), Vaughn (R) , Moncada (S), Colas, (L), Grandal (S), Wong (L) Cease, Lynn, Giolito, Kopech, Clevinger, Martin Gotta get a bounce back from Giolito and Moncadal for this to work.
  17. If he's a leader, he must be a bad one since our team is full of lazy players. We lack a true leader
