I am sure Manaea would be. I love Kopech as much as the top guy, but playoffs are a bullpen game and Kopech could be the second best reliever on our team. For this year, he'd make a TON of sense to be out there in the playoffs. I am where you are regarding a package. I'd love to be able to headline with Sheets +.. Would love to avoid Kath.
I'd be fine with Moncada if he can maintain a .365 OBP. I want nothing to do with Grandal over Eloy though... Eloy very well could be our best pure hitter.
I'd do Anderson, Robert, Abreu, Eloy, Grandal, Moncada, Pollack, Vaughn, Leury.
If you wanted more balance and Yoan looks okay, you could put him at 2, and push everyone down 1.
I'm bored.. Here's my lineup:
1. Anderson
2. Robert
3. Abreu
4. Eloy
5. Grandal
6. Moncada
7. Vaughn
8. Pollack
9. Harrison/Leury
There really is no good way to balance this lineup IF Moncada can't turn back to 2019.
As the number 11 pick.. I'd say yes, he needed to at least be tried at a starter. I want a higher ceiling than a reliever with that high a pick. He will never get the opportunity (as I have said since we brought him to the bullpen.
