QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Jul 15, 2016 -> 04:11 PM)
Morneau not in the line up.

Morneau is 3-11 w/ an RBI lifetime against Hector vs Avi who is 0-5. Ventura simply sat him because he's left-handed, which is just irritating to me.

I don't understand this at all. You put Morneau in the lineup everyday until he proves he can't hit lefties. You already know Garcia can't hit anything. It would be one thing if he actually had good splits against lefties but he's hitting .178/.275/.541 this year.

It could be that since he has been traveling all over (playing in Charlotte, Birmingham, flew to Houston, then to Anaheim ) that RV I'd just giving him a day off altogether readjust.

If Robin wasn't going to play him against the LHP tonight, then he should have played one last rehab game last night.

Regardless, he should be starting everyday for now.

Garcia career OPS vs. LHP: .733

Morneau career OPS vs. LHP: .708

I gotta pull a Dick Allen here. Everybody tears into Robin for ignoring splits, now he cares about them and gets ripped.
