sin city sox fan
QUOTE (flavum @ Jul 17, 2016 -> 05:15 PM) Low on the list of complaints. Actually, not on the list. I'm not saying its his worst characteristic. But its one that he's pretty good at being bad at.

SCCWS
QUOTE (Deadpool @ Jul 17, 2016 -> 05:26 PM) Agreed. Teams are building small armies of stats and sabremetrics specialists with complex supercomputers to help them make the right decisions. Find an assistant in one of those organizations and start over. Boston is loaded with those guys and had a GM that lived w numbers. They ended up signing and trading for Sandoval, Hanley Ramirez, Rusney Castillo , Joe Kelly and the GM lost his job. You need numbers guys and baseball guys and hopefully use both to make decisions. kitekrazy
I wonder if there are Angel fans who say "Blow the whole thing up. We are wasting Trout's good years on a losing team."

hi8is
Nice to be at Fulmer's debut. He looked fantastic. No rookie nerves - mound presence as advertised.

Lip Man 1
As the noted philosopher Kenny Williams has said, "it is what it is..." LOL. Why should we be surprised the Sox play well against teams like Boston, Toronto and Houston then roll over and die against garbage teams and pitchers? Been happening for years. greg775
One run in three games is another LOL. I picked up Weaver for one day to bolster my 3 fantasy teams. Of course he was available in all 3 leagues, lol. I knew that was a lock for a good boost to my staff numbers this week. Time to drop him. Look I love Anderson. I am not blasting him. But he's down to .279. Before you freak out on me, I think he should be sent down the rest of the year. Why? He's had a nice run where he got his feet wet. But he has to learn how to take a walk. Take what he's learned up here and go down and finish up strong and incorporate taking some pitches into his game. Nobody said it was easy. If he stays up, he's likely to soon be in the .220 range and nobody wants that. I'd send Anderson down for the final phase of his seasoning. Look ... he can't survive with this approach. But he has shown so much talent. Our team is going nowhere so I'd suggest sending him down. COMMENTS??? Edited July 18, 2016 by greg775
ChiliIrishHammock24
QUOTE (kitekrazy @ Jul 17, 2016 -> 05:24 PM) I wonder if there are Angel fans who say "Blow the whole thing up. We are wasting Trout's good years on a losing team." There has to be, but they are only wrong because you really shouldn't trade a super star until they have 2-2 1/2 years (or less) left on a deal. You don't "double" your return trading a guy at 4 years remaining versus 2 years, so you are better off milking that skill and team draw until only a couple years or less are left.
