The Bones Posted September 21, 2003 Share Posted September 21, 2003 Just in the last day or so my computer has been bombarded with popup ads everytime I log on. It's ridiculous, I've never experienced anything like it before. About 20 things popup over and over. Has anyone else had this problem and if so how can I fix it? I downloaded some popup blocker but it is only a 15 day trial and isn't doing anything to help. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Chisoxfn Posted September 21, 2003 Share Posted September 21, 2003 IT may be a type of code on your computer that is launching the popup ads cause this board doesn't have any. Try erasing your temporary files and stuff like taht and see if it clears the script thats sending you pop ups. Hopefully that works. I think somehow it is using yahoo to search the board and thats why its getting a pop up. I think its something yahoo somehow put on your computers when you go there.
